The tour is good value. We visited many cities in Poland - beautiful country, that we would not have seen if we did it on our own. While the distance between cities were somewhat far, there were enough comfort stops. Also the hotel stays are 2 nights each so we did not have to unpack/pack every night. There was sufficient free time to relax, explore on our own or go to the optional excursions. We liked our tour director (funny, informative, organized) and driver (safe and courteous) and got several treats during the tour. We appreciated the complimentary transfer back to the airport at the end of the tour.
It would have been nice to introduce ourselves at our welcome dinner or first tour on the coach. Also in Krakow to add Schindler’s Factory and maybe have less time in the market square. We found it on our own the day before our tour started. Also part of the ghetto wall that is still standing.
The tour director was outstanding; his knowledge of Poland and its history which he shared with us during the bus trips between cities visited was extremely helpful in the enjoyment of our time in those places. The whole tour was well paced and included some of the best sights Poland has to offer!
Poland is a clean, amazing country with people who have been so resilient Do not let this country escape your bucket list because you will definitely have lost a travel “gem”. The people are so kind and friendly and the food is awesome! . We saw so many wonderful places and learned about some history we never knew. We are so grateful we spent time in this unique country. You should, too.
The trip was fantastic. Every site we visited was beautiful and interesting. I loved the way the gudes gave us some information on the bus, then left us to explore on our own. Hotels were all clean, spacious and comfortable. Klea and Ines were so helpful and well organised.
A busy itinerary, and there were 3 consecutive one-night stays in Zakapoane, Wroclow and Poznan meaning unpacking and repacking luggage for relatively early morning starts. Perhaps a two night stay in one or more of these places might be more relaxing. The last day in Warsaw should not be considered a tour day as everyone left in the morning, some at 03:30 hrs., to make their flight departure times.
