- It is advisable to carry your cash or credit cards in a money belt for safety. Although it may sound absurd, the Middle East can be hectic, and pickpockets are known to operate in crowded areas.
- Being in the woods means encountering wildlife. So be cautious of your surroundings. Inform your guide promptly if you see a snake or any other creature.
- Wadi Rum can be unbearably hot, especially in the summer. So remember to pack sunscreen and clothes to withstand heat during the daytime. Also, carry enough water to stay hydrated during your Wadi Rum tour.
