An excellent trip of Eastern Europe, included all the sites I wanted to see and more. The trip moved at a good pace to covet a huge area, never did it feel rushed. The coach a wonderful way to make friends and always someone to chat with to paaa the time. Highly recommend this Trafalgar tour as a brilliant way to see the sites.

This itinerary was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Every destination was beautiful, well planned, and full of unforgettable experiences. The balance between sightseeing, culture, food, and free time made the trip really enjoyable and stress-free. Eastern Europe exceeded our expectations with its stunning cities, rich history, friendly people, and incredible value for money. Everything ran smoothly, and we made memories that we will never forget. We would highly recommend this itinerary to anyone considering a trip to Eastern Europe — it was such a good experience and one of the best trips we’ve ever had.

The Best of Eastern Europe itinerary was excellent. It was a very busy 17 days but it was well organized and provided us with lots of history and fun facts about each country. Our tour director was amazing! So energetic and fun! She was very helpful with alternative activities, if we weren’t going on the Optional Experiences. There were some long drives but that is expected when you are visiting 7 countries! We would recommend this trip to anyone who appreciates history, architecture and culture. The itinerary may not be suited to anyone with mobility issues.

I loved it so much! It was a great experience. Would 100% book again for my next holiday. I felt like the itinerary balanced covering the essential “tourist” places in each country, with local/ more authentic experiences too. Everyone I met was lovely. The tour made travelling easier and convenient.

This was a wonderfully satisfying itinerary as it covered quite a number of European countries. We were led to the beautiful cities with their colorful histories and breathtaking natural beauties.

The Highlights of Eastern Europe tour was a very fulfilling itinerary. It took us to many cities across 7 countries that included: Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Germany and Czech Republic. The Tour Director (TD) was knowledgeable, patient, and fun. She showed a genuine care for each traveler, and there were 40 of us. She and the coach driver worked seamlessly to deliver a wonderful experience for us. Even some of the rest stops were interesting places instead of the usual run-of-mill gas station. The most memorable highlights for me were: Lake Bled, the Postojna Caves, Plitvice National Park, the Danube River Cruise, Auschwitz, Wiellczka Salt Mine Exploration, the Berlin Wall/Memorial, and the beautiful UNESCO heritage site of Prague. The very knowledgeable local guides for each location enhanced the travel experience. I also enjoyed Trafalgar's Be My Guest experience and learning the host family's story. I have consistently enjoyed the Trafalgar tours - this is my 9th one. Being part of an organized tour allowed me to be able to do as much as possible and maximize my travel experience. The TD is always available if I have any questions or need recommendations on what to do when we had free time. Some of the countries for this visit were the 2nd time for me so I was more selective in choosing the optional excursions that I joined, which meant that I had more free time to do other things or just relax and enjoy the amenities of the lovely hotels that we stayed in. Hubby and I have already planned the next travel with Trafalgar for later this year!
