day 1 - Transfer Montevideo Airport/Montevideo Hotel

Half-Day City Tour
Enjoy a private city tour of Montevideo, visiting the most important attractions. In the Old City you will see the different architectural styles such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco. You will also appreciate the Plaza Matriz and the Cathedral. Then you will reach Plaza Independencia, which contains the remains of the national hero Jose Gervasio Artigas, and then continue to the Legislative Palace.
You will also visit the traditional Prado neighborhood, Punta Gorda and other residential areas. The tour finishes in the famous Mercado del Puerto where you can have lunch in one of the famous grills.

day 2 - Full-Day Tour to Pueblo Garzon & Visit to Garzon Winery
Discover the region of Garzón, also known as the “Uruguayan Tuscany”. Enjoy a visit to the amazing Garzon Winery including tasting of their fine wines and a delicious lunch.
Built atop a rocky outcrop, the winery offers amazing views of the vineyards located within rocky hillsides with mineral-intense, well-draining soils that create high-quality grapes. After the visit, enjoy a tour along the hills of Pueblo Garzon that will take us to the sleepy town where we will visit the main square, chapel and train station. Visit “El Garzon” Restaurant and Hotel (owned by the renowned Argentinean chef, Francis Mallmann).

Half-Day Walking Tour with Museums
Today, you will be met at your hotel, port, or bus station and walk through the old historic district of Colonia del Sacramento, founded by the Portuguese in 1680. On this tour, we will visit important landmarks such as the City Gates, the Street of Sighs, the Main Square, the San Francisco Church ruins - the oldest ruins in the country - the Lighthouse, the Governor’s House, the Sacramento Basilica, etc.
This tour will certainly give you an insight into this fascinating place that was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1995.
This tour includes entrance tickets to the circuit of museums. These are the Portuguese Museum, the Municipal Museum, the Tile Museum, the Historical Archive, the Indian Museum, the Spanish Museum, the Nacarello House, and the Paleontology Museum.
At the end of this walking visit, we will be taken back to your departure point.

day 4 - Half-Day Tour of Jesuit Ruins & Carmelo's Wineries
Departing from Colonia we start the tour by visiting the birthplace of wine in Uruguay: "La Calera de las Huérfanas" National Monument. The history of this place says, that during the 18th century the Jesuits established in the north of the Province of Colonia in Uruguay, where they continued their mission and built the first buildings in 1741. This is where Indians, slaves, and priests would gather. After the Jesuits were expelled by the Spanish crown, Don Juan de San Martín took the administration of the estancia and found 1500 stocks of the grapevine; this is how wine production was born in Uruguay.
After getting to know this important place in the history of Uruguayan wines, we proceed to Carmelo where we will visit two wineries where you will enjoy of Wine Tasting. Bodega Cordano is a small family-run winery which is led by Ana Paula Cordano and her family in the 5th Generation. Discover a unique place in our lands: “Almacén de la Capilla”, a vintage grocery shop founded in 1855 by Antonio Cordano, and still looking like these old days.
After a warm reception there, you know the production areas and you will enjoy a beautiful walk through de vineyards earing the sweet singing of the birds. Cheer up to make a true journey through time, thanks to the magic of Bodega Cordano.
The winery visit includes a guided tour through the vineyards and production area, led by the winery owners themselves. After that, you will enjoy a wine tasting. Bodega El Legado is a boutique family-owned winery located in the Carmelo area. The winery’s name, which means “Legacy” was chosen in honor of Luis Mazurca, who bought the land and planted the first grapevines, in the desire to make wine. The winery visit includes a guided tour through the vineyards, wine cellar, and production area, led by the winery owners themselves. After that, you will enjoy a taste of three different wines, accompanied by a cheese plate and olives.
After having lunch, we move back from Carmelo to Colonia del Sacramento. (The selection of the wineries may vary due to availability and opening days, being replaced by similar options; as well the order of wineries visits can be changed due to operative or logistic reasons).

day 5 - Transfer Colonia Hotel/Colonia Port

day 6 - Half-Day Punta del Este City Tour
Today, we will pick you up at your hotel to visit Punta del Este's most important attractions. This city is definitely one of South America's most glamorous resorts. You will be able to see many beaches, elegant seaside homes, high-rise apartment buildings, luxury hotels and glitzy restaurants.
We will begin our tour with a 90-minute sightseeing drive through this upscale resort, visiting the residential areas of Cantegril, San Rafael and Beverly Hills.
Our drive will take us past some of Punta del Este’s natural wonders: its beaches; and we will make a photo stop at Punta Ballena beach to enjoy breathtaking views of its coastline. From there, you will also be able to admire Casapueblo, a unique and quirky building constructed by the renowned Uruguayan artist Carlos Paez Vilaró, who passed away in February 2014.
At the end of this tour, we will take you back to your hotel.

day 7 - Half-Day La Barra & Jose Ignacio
Start your half-day trip to discover the eastern region of Punta del Este including the famous beach village José Ignacio. After crossing the undulated bridge of “La Barra”, we will visit the town of La Barra with its famous beaches such as “Montoya” and “Bikini”, and we will pass through several small beach towns like “Punta Piedras”, “Balneario Buenos Aires” and “La Juanita” before reaching José Ignacio.
Enjoy the charming village, visit the lighthouse and the residential area and relax in one of the welcoming restaurants. Enjoy some free time before we continue our visit to the “Atchugarry Foundation”. After visiting the museum, transfer back to Punta del Este. If the Atchugarry Foundation is closed, we visit the Ralli Museum
