Experience the essence of Montevideo in just three hours with this complete city tour. Guided by a bilingual expert, youā€™ll stroll through the Old Town, marvel at beautiful European architecture, and stop for photos at historic sites such as Plaza Independencia, the Solis Theatre, and Carrasco.

Touring Montevideoā€™s most famous neighborhoods, this trip is ideal for travelers seeking a compact yet insightful introduction to Uruguayā€™s capital. The unique selling point? A rich blend of cultural highlights and local stories delivered in a convenient, short-format tour package.

Overview

This 3-hour tour will show guests the most important and tourist spots of Montevideo and also visit some the most ā€œcharacteristicā€ places in town.

From a comfortable air conditioned mini-bus, we will first see and visit the Plaza Independencia where the citadel's Door is located, the Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, the Palacio Salvo and the monument to the Uruguayan hero Jose Gervasio Artigas.

We will visit part of the main avenue, 18 de Julio to go to the Palacio Legislativo.

We will visit the Mercado Agricola which operates within a historic building and offers a large amount of local products.

The park Jose Battle y Ordonez will be the next stop of the tours, in this place we will see the Monument to La Carreta, and then continue along the Montevideo waterfront from Pocitos to Carrasco.

At the end we return to the hotels.
