day 2 - Half-Day City Tour
Today, we will pick you up at your hotel to visit Montevideo's most important attractions. In the Old City, you will see the different architectural styles such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco. You will also appreciate the Plaza Matriz and the Cathedral.
Then you will reach Plaza Independencia, which contains the remains of the national hero Jose Gervasio Artigas, and then continue to the Legislative Palace. You will also visit the traditional Prado neighborhood, Punta Gorda and other residential areas. The tour finishes in the famous Mercado del Puerto where you can have lunch in one of the famous grills (lunch not included).
At the end of this tour, we will return to your hotel driving along the coastal road and beaches.
day 3 - Visit Pizzorno Winery with Wine Tasting & Lunch
Day tour to the vineyards of Montevideo Department: The country's wine heritage goes back to the first Spanish and Italian immigrants who brought the grapevine some 250 years ago and today wine is part of the Uruguayan culture. This tour will give you further insight into the development of winery in Uruguay while visiting two Bodegas in the surroundings of Montevideo.
Bodega Pizzorno is located 20 km from Montevideo, in the region of Canelón Chico, south of Uruguay, a prime area for wine production as its climate with warm days and cold nights give more intense color and flavor to the grapes. Establishment vineyards surround the small boutique winery, forming a landscape of 23 hectares of vineyards. We invite you to live a unique experience, going through the vineyard and tasting the best selection of wines (4 wines of classic line or Premium line) and tapas of regional products. The tours are accompanied by an oenologist of the establishment and a member of the family. Enjoy a delicious 3 course pairing lunch.

day 4 - Day Tour to Punta del Este & José Ignacio
Punta del Este is definitely one of South America’s most glamorous resorts. You will be able to see many beaches, elegant seaside homes, high-rise apartment buildings, luxury hotels and glitzy restaurants. This tour will take you through Punta del Este’s attractions: the main Avenue, Juan Gorlero, the artisans market, the yacht's port, the church Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, the lighthouse, the beaches and the residential neighborhoods of Golf, San Rafael, Beverly Hills, Rincón del Indio and Cantegril.
We will drive over the undulated bridge to La Barra with its beaches chosen by surfers, colorful houses, many restaurants and a more relaxed atmosphere. Later, we will pass through several small beach towns such as Punta Piedras, Balneario Buenos Aires and La Juanita before reaching Jose Ignacio. This was a sleepy fishing outpost which evolved into the chicest spot in Latin America, favored by jet-setters from around the world.
Take a stroll and enjoy the charming village, visit the lighthouse and explore the rich gastronomy scene. We will then make a stop in Punta Ballena where you will see Casapueblo, a unique and quirky building constructed by the famous Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró. Here you will see the most stunning views of the ocean and a spectacular sunset.

day 5 - Travel to Colonia del Sacramento
At the appropriate time, you will be transferred from your hotel in Montevideo to your hotel in Colonia. In the afternoon, a city tour visiting Unesco-listed Colonia del Sacramento. Discover the little stone streets, the old edifications, the fort, the port, the Spanish and Portuguese houses, downtown and the Rambla which borders the Old City to the “Real de San Carlos” where the “Plaza de Toros”, the “Hipodromo” and the old harbor can be seen.
At the indicated time we will pick you up at your hotel to transfer to Colonia Port or Bus Station.

We will explore the vibrant heart of Buenos Aires on our captivating half-day city tour, starting with convenient pickups in the stylish Palermo Soho district. This journey offers a direct and immersive encounter with the city's essence.
Our initial destination is Plaza de Mayo, a historic epicenter enveloped by iconic landmarks such as the Casa Rosada (Government House), the awe-inspiring Metropolitan Cathedral, and the storied Cabildo, a relic of Spanish colonial rule. At the opposite end of Avenida de Mayo stands the imposing Congress building, a testament to Argentina's rich political history.
The journey southward takes us to San Telmo Market, where the city's vibrant energy comes to life. From there, we venture into the birthplace of Tango, La Boca, a kaleidoscope of colors and culture. Along Caminito Street, you will encounter talented artists showcasing their mesmerizing Tango-inspired artworks.
Continuing our exploration, we briefly pause at Puerto Madero, a once-abandoned port district now transformed into a sleek, modern enclave. The contrasts in the Buenos Aires landscape are both striking and intriguing.
Our path then leads us to Palermo, a neighborhood adorned with lush parks, including the old City Zoo, the Botanical Garden, the Argentine Horse track, the esteemed National Polo Field, and the Planetarium. Here, nature and leisure converge harmoniously.
To culminate this remarkable journey, we visit Recoleta, one of Buenos Aires most glamorous neighborhoods, known for its elegant charm and rich history and its Cemetery, where Eva Perón rests in peace.

day 8 - Tigre and Delta Tour
Today, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the port of Buenos Aires. We will travel on a premium-class boat, sail along the Rio de la Plata, and admire the views as we navigate through the northern neighborhoods, heading upstream towards the Tigre Delta.
While gliding through the islands, stilt houses, and floating markets of the delta, we'll enjoy a traditional Argentine sweet alfajor with black coffee on board. After a cruise of approximately 1 hour, we will arrive in Tigre.
Tigre is the Argentine capital of rowing clubs, where you can savor a traditional Argentine snack, empanadas, at the Vivanco Restaurant of the Italian Rowing Club. We will then spend some time exploring the "Puerto de Frutos" before concluding our journey back to downtown Buenos Aires by land. Along the way, we'll stroll through the Victorica promenade and pass by the Tigre Naval Museum.
Notes: On December 25 and January 1, the tour only operates in the afternoon and does not include a snack. The Tigre Naval Museum is not visited.

day 9 - Day at Leisure in Buenos Aires
Day at leisure in Buenos Aires. Our suggestion is to explore the Pampas, with a visit to a working ranch in San Antonio de Areco, El Ombu, about 1h45 minutes from Buenos Aires. This quaint town is considered "the birthplace" of the gauchos, the Argentine cowboys. This is not included in your program, but we'd be happy to quote this for you, just let us know.

day 11 - Full-Day Iguazú Falls Argentine Side
Today we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Iguazú National Park, on the Argentine side. The falls are surrounded by a humid subtropical forest where the exuberant vegetation is home to many different species of wildlife. Our guide will help you spot some of them: toucans, parrots and coatis, just to name a few!
Lower and upper walkways weave in and around the falls, permitting up-close and personal experiences with this magnificent spectacle of nature. The Argentine side of the falls is filled with a myriad of paths, and walkways which allow you to have an experience from many different perspectives.
You will also have the chance to visit the “Devil's Throat”; the largest of the falls and for many, the most spellbinding. To get to the Devil's Throat, you’ll take the ecological train and then walk out along boardwalks. -- Please note that visits are temporarily suspended until further notice due to maintenance tasks --
After walking around and taking pictures of waterfalls, animals and plants, you will have some free time to eat lunch in this amazing environment. This exciting, 7-hour excursion is highly recommended in order to experience the true power of Iguazú Falls!!

day 12 - Half-Day Iguazú Falls Brazilian Side
Today we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Foz do Iguazú National Park, on the Brazilian side. Don't forget your passport!
While Argentina has 80% of the falls on its side, Brazil has the best panoramic view. On the Argentinian side, you have the sensation of being right inside the falls, but only by visiting the Brazilian side you will fully appreciate the immensity of Iguazú falls.
At the entrance of the National Park, you will get a bus with accompanied by a guide that will take your to the falls.
Take your time to enjoy it and feel it. Stroll the different walkways and feel the spray of water in your face. Take the boardwalk over the Salto Santa María, it feels like walking on the water! Get closer to the Devil's Throat and feel the power of water!
Once the tour is over, take the bus that will leave you at the access gate from where you will be driven to your hotel.

Upon arrival, you will be driven to the hotel and have the rest of the day to explore this lively city or spend time relaxing by the beach.
We will pick you up at your hotel and to the neighbourhood of Urca, where Sugar Loaf is located. The visit is made in two steps by cable car. The first one will take us to Urca Hill, which is 705 feet high and has a breathtaking view of the Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge and Corcovado hill. From there, we will board a second cable car that will go up to the top of the mountain, with 1296 feet high and a splendid view from Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some beaches of Niterói.
At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.

day 15 - Full-Day Corcovado & Botanical Garden
We will pick you up at your hotel and go to Cosme Velho neighbourhood, where we will take the cog train that will go through the Tijuca Forest up to Christ the Redeemer statue. Once there, you will have a panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio, including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, Southern Zone beaches, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.
After a lunch break, we will continue to the Botanical Garden visit. The Botanical Garden was founded in 1808 by king D. João VI, with the purpose to create a garden for acclimatization of plant species from other parts of the world. Until today it is one of the most iconic sites of Rio and a very important centre of botanical research. The place holds about 7,200 species of plants, the Imperial Palm trees, with it's incredible height, are the main attraction of the Garden. The area of 141 hectares shelter the most exotic flora from many parts of Brazil, like the Vitoria Regia and the wild orchid from the Amazon Forest. The walk also permits you to see several threatened species of extinction, as the brazilwood.
