Guillia put a great self-drive tour together for us and Susana looked after us as we travelled.
(Even when we got lost)
The car and accommodation was good and the guides patient and informative.
Only issue we had was parking in small villages, garages, and cities.
Apart from the parking we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, thank you.

Itinerary
Embark on an unforgettable Ecuador adventure that brings together two of the planet’s most extraordinary natural worlds — the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon Rainforest. Designed with families in mind, this inspiring journey invites you to snorkel with playful sea lions and sea turtles, walk alongside giant tortoises, explore volcanic landscapes, and witness wildlife thriving up close in the Galapagos, before venturing deep into the Amazon to paddle jungle waterways, spot exotic animals, and connect with a local indigenous Kichwa community.
day 1Arrival in Quito
Once you have arrived in Quito, make your way to the hotel. Set high in the Andes and straddling the equator, Quito is one of South America’s most atmospheric capitals. Its historic centre is among the best-preserved colonial quarters on the continent and has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its churches, plazas and centuries-old architecture. Depending on your arrival time, you may wish to head out and begin exploring independently. You can wander through the old town, visit a local café, or simply relax after your journey and adjust to the altitude. Later in the day, we will gather at the hotel at 6 PM, where we will settle in and prepare for the journey ahead with a welcome briefing. This first day is designed to ease you into Ecuador and provide time to rest before the adventure begins.
