Bucket List Destination

Wow Wow Wow - What an amazing trip I have just returned from. We were in a group of 14 and what a fabulous group it was. If you were travelling on your own you were never on your own, unless you wanted to, we all looked after each other. We had a fantastic CEO Khader, he was extremely knowledgeable and passionately loved Jordan and wanted to show us his country. From the moment we landed to the time were left the airport we found everybody friendly and courteous and felt extremely safe. If you are thinking about this trip do it ! I cannot explain what it was like running through the canyon and once through seeing The Treasury at Petra was just amazing. Wadi Rum was equally as impressive and star gazing at night was again fantastic. Floating in the dead sea and snorkelling in the Red Sea was again a highlight. I can see why this trip is called "Highlights of Jordan" we really did see the highlights and would go back to Jordan.

PETRA & WADI RUM BY BIKE

A great trip in a great country. A lot of physical activities and a lot of culture. Cycling is the right way to see this country. This trip is highly recommended.

Jordan is more than you expect

The trip only lasted a week, but Jordan is not a big country, and the itinerary is well planned - busy, but with some down time - so you can fit so much in without feeling rushed. There is so much more than “just” Petra. Wadi Rum - the site for Lawrence of Arabia’s gathering of the tribes, and location for the film (and for “The Martian”, the live action “Aladdin”, and “Dune”) - is spectacular. Floating in the Dead Sea is a unique experience, and the biblical, Roman, and Crusader sites are all fascinating.

Magical Jordan

Go to Jordan- many people expressed concerns when I mentioned my up coming trip, I can confirm my experience was full of warm friendly welcoming people and at no time did it feel unsafe. The Wai Rum was stunning and gave me a sense on peace that I have not found else where. The trek was well planned and at time's informative with our guide providing useful information and a tale or too. My companions were diverse from all backgrounds and experiences, and wonderful company as we explored the desert. Walking on sand at times was challenging and the firm patches were welcomed when they returned. The distances quoted on the itenery were short on some days that might catch a few people out if 20-23k is no your idea of fun. I really enjoyed the scramble to the rock bridge but I don't think the trip note's captured the heights involved which will catch out the average walker.

Great Experience

The was a wonderful experience. My focus was to see Petra, but the trip was so much more than that. There was such a variety of places to see and varied scenery to enjoy. The trip was very busy, but not rushed and our guide ensured we made the best use of our time in Jordan.

A perfect blend of culture and adventure!

We have just returned from this trip and it was truly one of the best! A wonderful blend of cycling, swimming, walking and culture. Mikhled our guide was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. He is so knowledgeable on his country and culture. The cycling team were great and led us on some fabulous rides. Lots of fantastic downhill but also a fair few hills too! The views were incredible and we were well looked after. Petra is spell binding. The only day of rain was the day we went to Petra and by midday we had to be evacuated due to flash floods! However we still managed to see plenty! Some of us revisited the next afternoon when the weather was better and climbed up to the Monastery for spectacular views. Camping in the Wadi Rum was just amazing and a great way to end a magnificent trip.
