Wonderful itinerary if you don’t have much time. Hotels are excellent, like you would expect from Insight. In Grand Canyon and Glen Canyon the hotel is right there, and even our room has the view of Grand Canyon and Glen Canyon as well. Amazing! In Lake Powel we took an optional tour to Antelope Canyon - breathtaking! Take it if you can! Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park are beautiful and amazing as well. The tour director did an excellent job keeping us informed and she was super helpful, knowledgeable, and very nice. Loved this tour!!

It was a very full itinerary every day but the parks included were all great to see. The drive was scenic the entire way. Our guide was excellent. She had it all organized perfectly and was fun and very friendly. We were in very good hands. The hotels were all fine and conveniently located to the parks. We were not roughing it. All very nice. Liked the stop in Seligman AZ on Rd 66 very much. Fun I wasn't that impressed, however, with the optional excursion boat ride on the Columbia River. The dinner part was good but the light show experience was underwhelming and seemed very dated. Not spectacular which it was made out to appear. The narration was dull and uninteresting.

Everything about the trip was excellent. The hotels were very comfortable with superb food and service. The sights and venues were interesting with enough time a)lottery to see and enjoy them. The your director was great. She was creative in solving minor glitches. The driver was fantastic guiding the very comfortable but big bus through the narrow New England streets. The patrons were the most congenial group I have ever risen with. Top notch in every aspect.

The itinerary was very well prepared and , our tour guide, was also very well prepared. When we were in the bus traveling to our next destination he would provide interesting stories and details of the places we were seeing. The lodgings were all wonderful. As a senior female traveling alone it is important to feel safe and I never had a moment of unease with any aspect of the trip. Our driver was amazing. He logged a lot of miles without a hiccup.

This was a great introduction to the National Parks in Arizona and Utah. I only wish we had more time at the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. But that’s the beauty of trips like this - it helps you plan future journeys! The optional experiences were amazing. I never thought I would fly in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon or take another helicopter ride that landed on top of a butte. Those memories will last a lifetime.

The trip ran smoothly. Our trip manager kept us well informed about the places we were traveling to. My only negative was the accommodation in LA wasn’t in a safe area. Surely Contiki could find better/safer accommodation for the travellers. However the rest of the accommodation was amazing especially the accommodation in the Grand Canyon. One recommendation would be to start travel days earlier. For example 7am instead of 8:30am. We only have a limited time in some places so we need to make every little bit count.
