Set off on a vibrant exploration of two interconnected yet distinct cultures with the "Cultural Road from Hoi An to Angkor Wat" bicycle tour. Over 14 action-packed days, this guided journey traces the lifelines of Vietnam and Cambodia, taking you from the historic port of Hoi An to the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor.
The adventure starts in Hoi An, where river and coastal rides reveal the region’s ancient Cham influences and poignant historical sites like My Lai. Ascend into the Central Highlands for a blend of natural beauty and encounters with ethnic Jarai and Bhanar communities, then cross into Cambodia’s market towns and crater lakes. The itinerary is rich with opportunities to hike, relax, or soak in local life—ensuring a dynamic balance between cycling and cultural immersion.
Pedal through agricultural heartlands where Buddhist and Muslim communities coexist, cruise the Mekong River in search of dolphins, and cycle through the Tonle Sap biosphere to reach the pre-Angkorian temples of Prasat Sambor. The journey culminates in Siem Reap, with ample time to explore the ancient wonders of Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm.
Ideal for travelers who crave both physical activity and cultural discovery, this tour package’s unique selling point is its access to four UNESCO World Heritage sites and deep dives into vibrant local traditions. Every day promises new landscapes, historical marvels, and a sense of connection to the past and present of these captivating countries.
I have completed about 25 tours with this tour agency and wanted to give a shout out about this excellent guide of yours. Anh Co sets the bar so high with the service he provides that I believe he is the best guide I have ridden with in your company and that's really saying something as you have many amazing guides. He understands what tourists want and his customer service is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to find vegan food for me at each of the meals. He has a broad general knowledge of the world and the war in Vietnam and was able to tell us all many things that we did not know about the war and his country in general. He is a great leader in training the other members of his team, an excellent rider and a truly nice guy as well. You should be very proud to have guides the calibre of Anh Co representing your company. All of our group are raving fans of his.
The tour was one of the best I have ever done with the tour operator because of the exceptional guides, food and accommodation.
Very impressed with taking care of the details and guides' ability to problem solve and to keep the tour running smoothly. Thanks for a great tour. Thanks also for the hat.
The guides on our trip in Vietnam and Cambodia were wonderful. We were very happy with our trip and will book another trip with this tour operator soon.
This was our 3rd tour with this operator and we will definitely do another trip in the near future. We brought 2 couples along with us and they too want to do another tour! We were Impressed with the itinerary and the organizing of each day. Each guide has his strengths. Mr. Anh Co was an excellent educator and guide. During the bus transfers, he answered questions we had regarding his country. He also educated the group about the history and current events of his country. He had to occasionally adjust our itinerary due to road construction or adverse conditions and he always had our safety as his top priority. Mr. Anh Co took many pictures of the riders and took the time to email us all the photos. Mr. Kloth for our Cambodia portion was a strong, organized rider. We had some long days in the saddle and I liked how he compartmentalized the ride into shorter increments (i.e.: 20 km, 20km, 15, 15, 10, 10 totaling 90 kms!), which physiologically the 90 kms was easier! Mr Kloth and his team were very cohesive and they worked well together.
