Overall, a wonderful trip! The pace is fast and the amount of things provided to do was very good. I would have liked to have spent a little more time in Guatemala and Honduras to get a feel for those countries (I can't really say that I have seen them on this trip) yet overall, it was a wonderful time with amazing people and beautiful locations.
A fabulous range of destinations that really showed off the beauty of Central America. I had a ball!
Great holiday!
The trip had an enjoyable itinerary that was complimented with a fantastic CEO. The only failings were on G Adventures part for not removing a crass, intrusive, and problematic individual from the tour. As mentioned before, call me for additional details. I'm not asking for a refund or credit, but I do not want this to happen to another group again. I recommend your company to too many people for this type of experience to happen.
Overall, a very good tour, although a bit too fast-paced. Not enough time spent in several places including Antigua, Guatemala and the beach resort in El Salvador. Hostel accommodations should be upgraded to 2-3 star hotels. Excellent travel companions on this tour (only one traveler with significant psychological disturbance). G has a superior CEO in Jorge Montero, who was a delight throughout. I have two more G tours scheduled later in 2025, so its apparent that I remain a fan and loyal customer of G.
Absolutely loved this tour! It was such a treat to travel through so many countries in Central America at once to discover the individual personalities of each place. With each county's individual policies at the border, it was absolutely essential to have a guide lead us through. This tour wouldn't have been the same without our brilliant guide Jorge! He really made sure we got to experience the best of each place and make the most of each day.
It was indeed an adventure on many fronts, meaning times of discomfort or uncertainty, which was all expected. It stretched me. Jorge made it all run smoothly.
