Guillia put a great self-drive tour together for us and Susana looked after us as we travelled.
(Even when we got lost)
The car and accommodation was good and the guides patient and informative.
Only issue we had was parking in small villages, garages, and cities.
Apart from the parking we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, thank you.

Itinerary
Trek through Ecuador’s Andean heart on this 8-day journey starting and ending in Quito. Cross Cotopaxi National Park, wind through canyons on the Quilotoa Loop and reach the emerald waters of Quilotoa Crater Lake. High-altitude trails continue to the slopes of Chimborazo, the world’s highest point measured from the Earth’s centre, before entering the remote landscapes of Llanganates National Park. Traditional villages, rugged paths and volcanic scenery define this focused trekking adventure along the Avenue of Volcanoes.
day 1Arrival in Quito
Once you have arrived in Quito, make your way to the hotel. Set high in the Andes and straddling the equator, Quito is one of South America’s most atmospheric capitals. Its historic centre is among the best-preserved colonial quarters on the continent and has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its churches, plazas and centuries-old architecture. Depending on your arrival time, you may wish to head out and begin exploring independently. You can wander through the old town, visit a local café, or simply relax after your journey and adjust to the altitude. Later in the day, we gather at 6 PM at the hotel to settle in and prepare for the journey ahead. This first day is designed to ease you into Ecuador and provide time to rest before the adventure begins.
