About Ramkrishna

Write a review
Originally from Dhading, I took my first step in the tourism industry in 2000 AD as a Sherpa guide. During this time, I had the opportunity to lead many tourists to almost all trekking regions in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. I have always had passion and devotion for the tourism industry. My enthusiasm and hard work, along with the encouragement and support from my former guides, coworkers, porters and others have helped me gain greater heights in the industry. Along with my extensive traveling and guiding curious travelers, I also provide free training to field employees (guides and porters). I am passionate about fostering local talent within the tourism industry. Through complimentary training programs, I support field employees like guides and porters, as well as those aspiring to enter the world of travel.

Ramkrishna's Best Travel Experience

In 2018, I ventured to a quaint town in England. While the specifics of the street escape me, what remains etched in my memory is the extraordinary encounter with a bustling community of Indians who had made this foreign land their own. As I strolled through the town, I couldn't help but notice the unmistakable aroma of Indian spices wafting through the air. Intrigued, I followed my nose, and to my surprise, I stumbled upon an entire enclave of Indian restaurants, each exuding an inviting warmth that transported me back to the streets of Mumbai or Delhi. The sight that greeted me was surreal: locals, adorned in their Western attire, delighting in the vibrant and flavorful dishes that had become synonymous with Indian cuisine. It was a mosaic of cultures, a testament to the universal appeal of a well-spiced meal. This encounter was a vivid reminder of the far-reaching influence of Indian culture and its diaspora. It was a snapshot of a global village, where borders blurred and palates united in celebration of the rich tapestry of flavors that India had to offer. This unique experience reinforced the notion that travel is not just about discovering new places, but about uncovering the intricate threads that connect us all. It was a moment of realization, a confirmation that no matter where we are in the world, the taste of home can be found in the unlikeliest of places. This journey in England was a tribute to the enduring legacy of Indian cuisine and culture, leaving an indelible mark on my global wanderings.
