World Expeditions were amazing on every level. The team in Nepal were professional, caring, encouraging, knowledgeable and great company. We could night rate this trip more highly. Thank you to our awesome guide Sherpa Meet and his team. A special shout out to our cooks too - the food was fantastic - healthy, varied, often locally sourced and tasty. The trip design was excellent too - each day was different and on many days we only saw a few other tourists. The accommodation was great and we loved the eco camps. Thank you for a great trip - we will definitely use World Expeditions again.

This was my fifth trip with World Ex over 40 years. Fair to say that I’m both older and perhaps wiser ??. I’ve always appreciated the itinerary planning that results in each trek structure. All my previous treks were over 30 days so this was my “shortest” trek but it remained challenging. Why? I had a hip replacement in April 2025. I am just 70 years young ??. I decided on this trek as a rehab goal. My first trip to Nepal in 1985 was to do the then Annapurna Circuit and it was the highlight of a year backpacking. I have to say that this Annapurna trip was the highlight of my return to mobility. Fair to say that the preparation that I did was adequate but I could have done more. There really wasn’t any easing into the steps or the climbing but to see what we saw you just had to jump into it. I also rolled my ankle towards the end of Day 2 and I thought immediately that my trek was over. I had strapping tape and Voltaren so I persevered and completed the trek “relatively comfortably”. I opted not to do the optional climb to Kayer Lake for several reasons. First was that I’d been to higher altitude on all my previous treks. Second was to rest my ankle and not take any unnecessary risk. Third was more personal and was to take the time to reflect and meditate on my life’s journey given the loss of several close family members since my last trek. Spending time in the mountains, while resting in the sun, was a special spiritual experience thinking of loved ones who had passed away while appreciating the loved ones supporting my current journey. I commend this trek to both the young and those young in spirit. A final thank you to all the Nepali staff who ensured the trek was special and to the WE staff who I had contact with ????

Absolutely incredible trip. Our guide Subash was fantastic, he knew his stuff and we felt very well guided and looked after. The views were spectacular and the food was incredible too. Big thanks to the whole team, and I highly recommend this trip.

Poonhill

I just completed a 4-day Poonhill trek, and it was absolutely amazing. The views from the top were stunning, worth every steps!. I found the countless stone stairs quite challenging for first time trekker like me, but the journey was unforgettable. Our guide Devi and porter Bishnu, always made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trek. Would love to come back to Nepal again for sure.

Our trip surpassed our expectations. We had a wonderful group and were led by an amazing leader, BK. She made sure we were well looked after, briefed and supported throughout the trip. The team, route, accommodation, food, camaraderie were all exceptional! Highly recommend this trip.
