The itinerary was very thorough and interesting. But unlike other Insight trips, there were no extra excursions offered, probably due to the packed itinerary. As a historian, I was disappointed that there was no opportunity to visit Fort Louisbourg, a critical location during the French and Indian War. Nor did anyone offer to help me make this excursion a possibility. Des;pite this disappointment, the overall Maritime Provinces experience was a positive one. Also, our guide was quite good. My advice would be to incorporate the visit to the Fort as part of the trip and possibly cut one day off of Prince Edward Island. One other comment: we have been on 5 Insight trips, and on this particular one we had to pay for the most non-included suppers ever.

The tour and the guide were excellent, and we saw a lot more than we were expecting in Havana. They were also flexible in letting us see some places on our list so we appreciate it. The hosts in Varadero were also very accompanying especially when we asked to stay a couple extra nights. Overall the tour was fantastic.

Everything was amazing, some activities we shuffled around the accommodate rain and being able to go to a festival. There was a little bit of a miscommunication with flight Center telling us we could pay for the optional extras on the trip (and did not need to book them in advance). Had an amazing time in Japan! The only thing we can say which really wasn’t a challenge as such, was that on our last morning we were being picked up for the airport before the hotel’s breakfast time and we had already paid for that meal. So we had to purchase breakfast elsewhere. Onsens are always a great experience. All three trips that we have booked with you previously have all been a great experience
