I did this tour and really enjoyed it. The itinerary was packed but fun. Beaches, islands, waterfalls, a bit of culture, and some beautiful nature spots. Saona Island and Los Haitises were my favorite parts. The guides were friendly, the transport was comfortable, and everything was well organized, so I didn’t have to worry about planning anything. It’s a great option if you want to see a lot of the Dominican Republic in a short time. Overall, super solid tour and definitely worth it!

I just returned from my recent trip to the Dominican Republic (November 2025). It was a last minute trip and I went Solo. As a woman, who traveled alone, it was vital to find an organized way to enjoy the Dominican Republic for safety and best use of my time. I found Charlie the Traveler, who's organization had a 6 day itinerary available for me. The price was very worth it. They arranged all the airport pick up and drop off, hotel arrangements and all the day trips. The excursions were very diverse and gave me the opportunity to see many of the important landmarks in just 6 days. I wish I had stayed longer but I had to go back to work. I got to see the beaches, mountains, caves and historical locations. We went to Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Saona, and many other places. I highly recommend using them whether it's a solo or group trip. We communicated via Whatsapp everyday and they always checked in on me and were available if any issues arose. I would definitely use their services again with my friends or family or solo again!

I have just returned from the 17-day Japan tour, and I have to say, it was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on! Our group leader, Lachie, was absolutely incredible. My wife and I just returned from an amazing 11-day trip to Costa Rica. Yuliana helped us to put together a private tour designed specifically for us. No amount of time and effort would have let us do it ourselves. We were most interested in the landscape and animals, and our private driver was able to take us to fabulous sights. We stayed in unusual accommodations including a tree house in the jungle and a villa at the Arenal volcano. This trip was amazing! Everything about the itinerary worked well. The included experiences were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The add ons were great as well. The Trip Manager was great. Very organized and willing to help when needed. The small group size was perfect. Patagonia can be a difficult place to get to but well worth the journey once you are there!

I had the most amazing trip and met so many people, while getting to explore some unbelievable locations - including the Bay of Islands during this short trip. I only regret not booking a longer trip. Contiki made it so easy - all I had to do was show up! The trip manager and bus driver were both really helpful and made the trip worthwhile.

If you’re thinking of going to NZ we found this to be a great tour. There are more optional excursions than I was expecting so you need to allow a good amount of spending money. A list of optional excursions should be made available prior to booking the trip.

Tortuguero was full of great nature, although the heat and lack of fans and air conditioning can be brutal at times. Puerto Viejo/Cocles was our favorite and it was great to see the Caribbean side of Costa Rica; all of the experiences there were fantastic as well. Overall, we enjoyed our honeymoon and hope to make it back to Costa Rica to visit the other side of the coast in the future!

The road to Hana was our favorite day planned by Collette. We also enjoyed learning about the wars that finally unified the islands under King Kamehameha 1 and visiting the Iolani Palace. We took excursions on our own - whale watching on Maui and a helicopter ride over Kauai. We were supposed to visit HI in 2023 for our 50th anniversary, but the fire on Maui caused the trip to be canceled. So, 3 years later we finally visited our 50th state!

It was a dream come true trip. 7 fabulous countries in 8 days. Svetlana the tour guide had the best personality. The bus driver could have been a Formula 1 driver. Highlights included Venice and Paris. Would highly recommend. While on the bus you had fabulous views of the Austrian and Italian alps
