G Adventures
About Us
Started by Bruce Poon Tip in the year 1990, G Adventures transformed from a young man’s vision into a global conglomerate in a very short amount of time. As an enthusiastic and passionate traveler, Bruce dreamt of sharing his travel experience with the world. Giving birth to G Adventures with nothing but personal credit cards, this one-man army soon emerged with over 2000 employees spread over 23 different offices all over the world. Now catering to more than 150000 travelers each year, G Adventures is truly one of the largest and most passionate tour operators out there.
A Sense of Adventure
Ever had that overpowering feeling of heading off to an adventure after watching movies like Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider? Adventure travel has a way of making you fall in love with the world, helping you discover yourself and learn unique skillsets as you explore the planet, meet new people and get your adrenaline pumping. G Adventures will help you do all that.
Smaller Groups
One of the biggest issues that most group travelers face is the group size. Most tour operators conduct tours in large groups which could spoil the entire experience. This is what makes G Adventures so different. We specialize in offering tours in smaller group sizes at some of the most exclusive places in the world, all at the best prices. A smaller group simply opens up your itinerary a little more, making it more accessible, proving security and companionship and offering enriching experiences with complete strangers.
Travel Responsibly
The world is a beautiful place to be in and traveling is probably the greatest gift that we can offer to ourselves and our loved ones. Enjoying a destination and becoming a part of its beautiful culture is a great thing to do, but it is equally important to ensure that you’re giving back to the community. From choosing local businesses and developing community based rural travel projects to offering disaster relief services and preventing animal abuse, G Adventures truly operates with the belief that travel is a medium of exchange, which means that they try and give back as much as possible to the local community.
Quality Service
As one of the most reputed travel operators on the planet, G Adventures is all about making your tours feel extra special. The company is a proud recipient of numerous awards, many of which highlight exactly how travel operators should be run. Some of the awards received by G Adventures include Baxter Travel Media Canada's Favourite Adventure Tour Operator, Readers Choice Best National Adventure Operator in Canada, Vacation.com Canada Specialty Tour Operator Partner of the Year and National Geographic Traveler's Tours of a Lifetime.
So the next time you get one of those pangs, that lust for an adventure of a lifetime, all you have to do is choose your favorite destination, select your preferred G Adventures tour and dive into a world of mystery, excitement and endless fun.
