From the rugged Highlands to the charming cities, guided tours of Scotland weave together a tapestry of experiences, where every moment is filled with discovery and delight. You can start your tour in the enchanting city of Edinburgh. Your tour guide will walk you through the cobbled streets of the Royal Mile. Learn about the city’s past and the history behind iconic landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. For a bit of urban experience and cultural immersion, book a trip to Glasgow. There is the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and others, where you will find a diverse collection of art and artifacts. If you want to head away from the cities, take a trip to the Isle of Skye. Its dramatic cliffs, sparkling lochs, and fairy-tale landscapes provide the perfect setting for a quiet getaway. The Cairngorms National Park is another haven for nature lovers, offering opportunities for wildlife spotting, skiing during winter and even guided hiking tours in Scotland. Good itinerary. Had a lovely trip! Knowledgeable tour director and expert Local Specialists. Connecting with Locals in a Be My Guest Experience is a nicely unique and enriching experience.

Our last night with dinner at the Craufurd castle was over the top. So enjoyed mingling with the Laird and Lady. The whole trip was amazing, but that was the icing on the cake.

The Collette Tour of Scotland and Northern Ireland was fantastic. The Tour Manager, Graham Hughes and Bus Driver David were outstanding. They were both extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and also personable. Graham went above and beyond what he had to do by assisting us with dinner reservations and also making my birthday, which was the last day of the tour, a memorable one by going out of his way to get me a nice gift to remember the tour by. David the bus driver kept the atmosphere on the bus light and had everyone on the bus laughing during much of the bus travel. The daily tours during the trip were all well-organized and informative and the local tour guides were outstanding. They were all extremely knowledgeable and very funny which made the tours both interesting and fun. The hotels on the tour were comfortable and clean and they were all in great locations with the surrounding areas having easily accessible places to eat and shop. The bus which took us to all of the places that were visited was clean and comfortable and the bus driver David's driving skills were excellent considering the narrow roads and excessive roundabouts . I would absolutely recommend Collette Tours to friends and relatives and would definitely book another Tour with them if the itinerary was something that met me needs. I would absolutely request Graham Hughes for my next tour and David the bus driver.

Disappointed that the weather didn't cooperate to go to the Orkney Isles, but loved being at Ballachulish and Castletown away from the big cities. Wished lunch stops were longer for eating and shopping the towns. Could have stayed all day at Dunrobin Castle as I enjoyed touring on my own, but didn't have time to cover all of it.

Great experience wonderful team the accommodation was amazing, living on a barge with a full working crew and the chef on board provided the most wonderful dishes to enjoy during this adventure over all the seven days was so enjoyable and walk The Great Glen Way is something I will ever forget!

I can't speak highly enough of the crew. They created a thoroughly enjoyable experience and genuinely cared about those of us travelling on board. I loved everything about the trip. There was plenty of activity to be had or rest if that was what was needed. Boating life was wonderful and of course the ultimate highlight the 3 Lochs - Ness, Oich and Lochy and the majestic environment which we had the absolute pleasure of walking with an experienced guide. Walking the length of The Great Glen Way was an option rather than a must. I took the option of resting or walking a shorter distance when needed. Scotland you certainly made my heart sing. Huge thanks and appreciation to the crew.
