Madagascar was amazing! Such a great country to visit where one moment you're in the mountains, the next on a beach or a bustling city or in the rainforest searching for a wide range of wildlife.
This was a trip I enjoyed very much. Besides seeing many natural wonders, we also got a lovely tour leader Hery. No matter when and where we needed his help, he was always there available. He tried his hardest to let’s get the best from this trip in every aspect in Madagascar. He far saw the problems and prepared solutions in advance for them to make our trip possibly smoother. To the end he prepared a list of animals, insects, and plants we encountered, to enhance our knowledge and memory about the trip. Our driver and his assistant were very professional as well. The bus was always clean. They did their best to drive us safely and efficiently under the bad road conditions. I deeply appreciate their efforts.
A really varied trip with the opportunity to see several different areas of Madagascar; the gorgeous beaches, some beautiful national parks and delightful lemurs and chameleons!
I recommend this trip for anyone who seeks true adventure and wants an immersive experience, you're going to love this. I was very happy with our guide Barnabus, most pleasant and engaging. The Madagascar tour provided access to wonderful scenery and ample opportunities to connect to people. I won't sugarcoat it, there are a couple of challenging days with long bumpy rides but the destinations were always worth it. The days spent traveling by boat were fantastic. So glad I signed on for it and really enjoyed the small group I was traveling with.
I really enjoyed this tour, it gives a very good overview of the country, culture, National Parks, everyday life, etc. We used a minibus all the way through and it worked very well. The local tour leader was outstanding.
Madagascar is like nowhere else on the planet – the result of 80 million years of isolation. Here, alien landscapes – of stone forests, bulging baobab trees, and vast national parks – hide weird and wonderful creatures unique to this island. This in-depth adventure covers the extraordinary habitats and creatures of the south and west, while your expert tour leader unlocks the mysteries and shows you where bouncing lemurs put on their best show and other curious animals like to hide.
