We had an excellent trip, learning about the evolution, distribution, habitat, food and habits of bears. We studied and measured " bear " trees and scats and were able to deduce the age and sex from these! The walks were well varied through stunning scenery.
Im coming to the end of my Sri Lanka tour and I couldnt recommend it highly enough. The tour is well organised and we got to see so many beautiful places along the journey. Our group leader, Penn, has been absolutely wonderful and so helpful in every aspect. She is highly knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and clearly cares a lot about her job. Our honeymoon also took us to Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale NP and finally Bwindi NP in southwestern Uganda. Boaz our guide for the trip from Entebbe was an amazing, sharing his extensive knowledge of flora and fauna. We spent a lot of time in the safari vehicle and I am happy that it was comfortable for the bumpy off-roads. Gorillas was really special! When I looked straight in their eyes I could not help but admit that we share common DNA. Accommodation spots were well appointed and perfect.
