This was truly an incredible trip filled with great people and experiences--and included so much more than I expected. It was a really fun group, Benji is an awesome guide and the accommodations were overall comfortable and well-suited to this type of tour. Created for travellers in their mid-thirties and upwards, this North Island tour includes special activities such as walking to the spectacular and photogenic Cathedral Cove, a fully guided tour of Hobbiton Movie Set, a traditional Māori meal, a tour of Zealandia Nature Reserve in Wellington and a walk amidst towering – and magically lit – treetops. This experience was an outstanding opportunity to visit more places and to learn more about the history, grography and culture of two amazing countries, partially due to the great leadership.
