In addition to its natural landmarks, southern Iceland is known for its plains that stretch to the horizon. Because of that, and suitable weather conditions, this area is the bread basket of Iceland.
Travel to the famous waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, the latter of which has been featured in movies like 'Thor: The Dark World' and 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'. Walk behind the cascading water in Seljalandsfoss (please don't forget to carry your raincoat).
Get the chance to explore the world-famous black-sand beach of Reynisfjara. Also see its unique rock formations and columnar basalt. This is one of the most spectacular beaches in Iceland. However, we request our guests not to get too close to the ocean and follow the guidelines.
Your last destination of the day is the SĂłlheimajokull Glacier, where you can walk up to a small lake that has formed in front of the retreating glacier. We will head back to Reykjavik after the tour ends and drop you off at your accommodation.
