Simple stays with essential amenities. Typically guesthouses, hostels or hotels rated below 3 stars — clean, no-frills, and great for value-conscious travelers.
Comfortable and reliable 3-star stays. Expect private rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and solid amenities — a great balance between comfort and cost.
Upscale 4-5 star hotels and lodges. Enjoy high-end service, refined comfort, and premium locations — ideal for travelers seeking extra indulgence.
You will be picked up at your hotel (only at Hoan Kiem District) about 7.45 am to enjoy an amazing full-day tour discovering Perfume Pagoda in Hanoi.
Around 10 am, you will get access to the Perfume Pagoda. Thought to be the first temple constructed in the limestone mountains of Huong Tich six centuries ago, the Huong Pagoda is a giant complex of Buddhist temples and shrines. This pagoda is also the center of a religious festival which attracts a large number of pilgrims from all over Vietnam.
Situated at the center of this complex is the Perfume Temple also known as Chua Huong or ‘inner temple’. It is a very revered and sacred site owing to a complicated system of mainly Buddhist temples constructed in the limestone cliffs of Huong Tich.
Here, you will go on a 1.5-hour boat trip to admire the incredible scenery while being at the center of the ink painting.
After that, you will pay a visit to the Thien Tru Pagoda before making a stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Around 16.30, you will join the boat trip back to Ben Duc.
Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hanoi. The trip ends about 6 pm.

An interesting destination with a fascinating culture.
The cuisine is delightful and this Explore trip gives you an insight into the preparation of the local food.
The flora is very colourful, but bird watchers will be very disappointed. There is more birdsong in my garden than two weeks in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese are extremely friendly and helpful. The traffic is daunting.

We had an excellent tour guide: helpful, informed, receptive and with a good sense of humour. Most of the hotels were excellent....some slightly less so (Nha Trang for example). The service on the trip was exceptional. The support team of transport, bag carriage and a cycle mechanic were also excellent. Vietnam is fascinating and being on bikes we saw all aspects of the country. We saw its beauty, we saw the industry and pride of its people who were universally very welcoming. We also saw all sorts of things normal tourists, arriving in a large group with little language ability, would not be able to see. Some of the best things were stops in markets, or by rice fields, or at very basic homes or cafes. We saw a lot and visited a lot of different places: a 'grand tour' if you can do such a thing on bikes! The country certainly has issues, in my opinion, with rapid over-development (in the south particularly) with endless giant resorts half finished, being built or built and empty. It also needs to address the issue of litter. It is not alone in facing these issues! I am also certain it has the ability and determination to address them.

Our gastronomic trip to Vietnam was excellent. We experienced a very wide range of food and in a wide range of locations. We tried street food in Hanoi and Saigon, ate the freshest fish and seafood on boat journeys and had a delightful meal home-cooked by a family. We helped prepare food in several places including spring rolls, savoury pancakes, and Vietnamese bean cake. In addition to eating (lots) there was plenty of time to experience ancient historical sites and to scratch the surface of the relatively more recent wars that the country has suffered.
Our tour guide, Hung, was excellent. He had a great sense of humour and was one of the best guides we have experienced. We were a small group - only 4 of us. We got on really well, meeting as strangers but parting as friends, including our guide. A great trip all round and would thoroughly recommend.

I recently completed a 5-day Ha Giang Loop tour, and it was hands down one of the most unforgettable experiences of my travels in Vietnam.
The trip was extremely well-organized from start to finish, with every detail taken care of from transport to meals and accommodation.
A special shout-out to our guide, Eagle, who truly made the trip exceptional. He was not only enthusiastic and full of energy every day, but also incredibly accommodating and approachable. Whether it was helping with small requests, sharing local insights, or making sure everyone felt included, Eagle went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable for everyone.
The food throughout the tour was consistently excellent fresh, flavorful, and a great mix of local Vietnamese dishes.
Accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the stunning landscapes of Ha Giang with a team that knows how to deliver a truly memorable and hassle-free experience.
