This tour was more fast paced than I anticipated. The free time to explore, with someone else doing all the planning and logistics made it so you could turn your brain off, enjoy the sights, the people, the food and beer. There's been more than once I was hung over and only existing, yet still able to travel from point a to be b, see some cool stuff and places. One thing I didn't expect to enjoy so much was the group dynamics. It's like instantly making a bunch of life long friends that come from different places, have different experiences, seeing new things. Honestly the peoplein the group was as good as the trip itself. Guides were inconsistent.... Some were very good and took personal interest... Some also knew their history well.. A special mention of Julio Magyar.. He did an excellent job of giving us a backdrop... Mariano too... Hotels were not always upto standard especially innsbruck Allen the breakfast of which was very basic.. Too long bus rides.. Should have kept trains for the longer trips.. My legs were swollen... Guides shd be with us much more... Some disappeared..

This was our first cycling holiday and didn’t really know what to expect but we loved it. We felt that it challenged us but was doable and it was great to arrive each night to somewhere new - the hotels were great and we really enjoyed the varying and contrasting experiences of cycling along the Danube making it really difficult to pick out a favourite day or part. The bikes (push) were in good condition and luggage transfer was excellent. There were designated cycling paths virtually the whole way and it was exciting being able to cycle into Vienna. Overall a brilliant holiday which we extended with a night in Munich (booked independently) before hand and an extra night in Vienna at the end (booked through UTracks).
