Visitors still require a special limited trekking permit from Nepal’s government, ensuring that only limited travelers visits this isolated area.
This trek is popular for it’s dry and wide landscapes, oasis Tibetan villages, mystical Buddhist monasteries and fossil stones that line the bank of the Kaligandaki River.
