Safe, professional, nice team, good food (felt like five stars on the mountain. I still don't know how they brough the eggs up to the camps), nice atmosphere and on the mountain: one team!
It would be helpfull to know the questions of this survey beforehand so I would have known where to put additonal information on the guide how was singing while we were going up to the summit. This was an amazing trip. I can't believe how many animals we saw. I honestly did not expect to see every animal that I had on my list and we also saw so many of them and multiple times. I'm still in awe of how much wildlife we saw. It was surreal being there and on an actual safari. We also had a great guide in Arusha who took us on a tour of a village, a coffee plantation, and to the Maasai market, which was quite an experience. I also really enjoyed the spice planation tour on Zanzibar and of course, the beach!

A really excellent trip. In just over a week we had game drives in several different environments (forest, open plains, the Ngorongoro Crater) and had some truly magical experiences. Visiting the Olduvai Gorge to learn about humans' early ancestors was a moving experience. Our visit to a Maasai village helped us to see and understand something of their way of life. We stayed mainly in luxury tented camps (Tortillis Camps), which were spotlessly clean, very comfortable and run by a team of very helpful staff.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect as safari tours seem expensive, and I kept wondering if it would really be worth the cost. But it absolutely was. From the first day I knew I’d made the right choice. Every game drive felt like a new adventure. One morning we watched a group of baby elephants playing in the dust while their mothers stood nearby. Later, we spotted a hippo yawning near a watering hole. So close we could see its giant teeth! And the sunsets? Incredible.
Our guide was excellent. He was friendly & funny. The group dynamic was easy and fun. We had a mix of people: a couple celebrating their anniversary, a solo traveler from NY, and me with a close friend. It never felt awkward or too crowded.
You don’t need to be super fit for this tour. Everything is done at a relaxed pace and was very accessible, even for folks who aren’t used to rugged travel.
If Tanzania is on your list, my advice is that you don’t overthink it. Just go. It’s 100% worth it.
