This tour will start in Delhi where we will pick you up early in the morning. We will then drive towards Agra, where Taj Mahal is. You will overnight at a 4 star hotel in Agra. The Taj Mahal is considered one of the most romantic monuments in the world. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan after the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, this white marble mausoleum is considered a monument to eternal love.
When can the Taj Mahal be seen by Moonlight?
A total of 400 tourists are permitted to see the Taj Mahal, on or around moonlit nights, on five specific nights in a month. These nights are the full moon night itself and the two nights before and after the full moon night.
To help you book in advance and avoid disappointment, we provide a list of full moon nights in the coming year. You can plan your trip beforehand, so you won't miss this eagerly awaited sight
Security Precautions
Tourists can view the Taj Mahal from a distance of 500 m, from a nearby red sandstone platform. Tourists are permitted to carry still cameras for photography and binoculars for viewing.

Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Day Tour From Jaipur - July 2027
Join us on this private, guided day tour of Taj Mahal and Agra from Jaipur. We will pick you up from your hotel or location in Jaipur at around 6:00 am and drive you to Agra in a private, air-conditioned car. Your first destination is the Unesco World Heritage site of Taj Mahal, a 17th-century mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
Admire this breathtaking architectural monument from different perspectives while taking a stroll on its gardens. See its white, marble domes and pillars shimmering in the morning light. Your driver will then take you to Agra Fort, a massive, 16th-century sandstone fortress that served as a palace, fortress, and prison for Shah Jahan, the emperor behind the Taj Mahal.
Explore the maze of pavilions, mosques and courtyards inside the walls of the fort. Notice the synthesis of various architectural styles before it is time to drive back to Jaipur. Please note that entrance fees to the monuments mentioned above is not included in the tour price and will have to be paid by travellers themselves.

Get ready for an extremely early takeoff time for this 14-hour private tour to Agra from Delhi. Be picked up at 2:30 am from your hotel or the airport — it’s your choice.
Sit back in your private vehicle, and relax. The ride from Delhi to Agra takes about three hours.
Once you arrive in Agra, you’re in for a treat. Your first stop is at the Taj Mahal, and you’ll be just in time for sunrise. See just how stunning the majestic palace looks under the beautiful rising sun before you head out with your guide on a tour of the grounds.
Take a break at nearby hotel/restaurant where breakfast is served for you and your private group.
Next up is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Agra Fort. Admire the red sandstone the fort’s made out of as your guide fills you in on the history of the Mughal Dynasty’s former imperial residence.

Taj Mahal Tour - New Delhi to Agra and Back - July 2027
We will pick you up from your location or hotel in New Delhi at around 6.00 am. We will then drive to Taj Mahal and experience the visit to the most famous monument of Love.
We will also visit the Agra Fort, the Itmad-ud-Daulah, and Sikandra (Tomb of emperor Akbar). This tour furthermore includes an excursion to Mehtab Bagh and a visit to an Indian home where you will experience Indian culture, and meet people of different age groups sharing their living experiences and food habits. We will also take a ride in a Tonga (shown in one of the images displayed).
Afterwards you will explore the local market which is richly famous for its culture, spices and food. We will also go to marble workshop where you can see the inlay work done, as on Taj Mahal. At the end of the day you can go shopping and then we will take dinner at the evening, before proceeding back to New Delhi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or accommodation around 10.00 PM.
