This tour was as advertised in terms of level of activity. It incorporated a variety of experiences & included interactions with local culture & give back to the local community through Planeterra. I have now completed 4 intro tours, and each trip just gets better! We have just finished the Philippines tour, and the expeditions are out of this world, but what made this trip stand out most was our tour guide Zoe! she always went above and beyond, to make sure everyone was catered for and having the best time. A fantastic 11 days in Cambodia exploring the country side, learning about the culture and the genocide.
From the moment I met Hul, I knew he was going to be a joy to be around. His fun, witty nature is just what is required for being a tour guide. Hul has been really knowledgable on all aspects of history and Cambodian culture. He is super organised and explains to everyone where they need to be. Hul makes sure he brings the party wherever he goes and ensures everyone is having a good time. It was amazing for him to bring us along to his families houses and get to experience where he grew up and how life is in Cambodia, I will never forget how warm the family welcomed us while we had their rice wine and home cooked lunch. I am so glad Hul was our tour guide and he made the experience unforgettable.
