Not only is he an encyclopedia and loved sharing information with us while trekking, he was smart, strategic, and patient all throughout the trip. He actively used his experience to guide us on the trek, making changes that would better our chances of crossing the pass and visiting Tilicho lake in the best way possible, which I appreciated. Ramesh is also very friendly and warm, which truly helped, as our experience literally felt like a perfect intertwine between a guided tour and a trek, which we greatly appreciated. The trip entailed an easy 10km walk in the local national park situated in the foothills of Kathmandu. The drive to the start of our trek was only 1hour away, but it was a perfect way to escape to the countryside from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu town. The campsite was perfectly set up and ready for our arrival, tents with beds and lighting and with a restaurant and bar which served the freshest food for lunch and then a lovely bbq in the evening. In the morning we had a few snowy mountains to greet us for breakfast and then after a short walk to the local village, we were then served lunch before out transport took us back down to Kathmandu.
