The trip begins with a three-day trip to the exotic canals of Tortuguero National Park on the Caribbean coast, the key nesting ground for endangered sea turtles between the months of July and October. The tour begins with a short, 20-minute ride to the peninsula sector of Arenal Volcano National Park near Arenal Lake. Walk around 1.5km (nearly 1 mile) through a trail in the national park.
During the whole trip, you will be able to enjoy excellent views of Arenal Lake and the Tilaran Volcanic Mountains from different observation bays that are along the trail. At the end of the trail, you will have the opportunity to climb to an observation platform approximately 10m high to take a closer look at the volcano.
