Lynn, our tour guide, met us in our hotel lobby promptly as planned and we headed for our day trip to Hangzhou. We had an easy transfer to the Station. Lynn explained everything and took care of getting us through the security check in and ticketing process. The train ride was very nice. We were met by another driver after the train ride, and we headed to the West Lake area. Lynn was wonderful throughout and answered all our questions and told us about the history of the area during our drive, boat tour and visit to the tea tasting. We even had some time to walk around the city center and do a little shopping before heading back. Overall, a really nice experience for our family! Lynn did an excellent job from start to finish and we would definitely recommend!!
Cruise the dynamic streets of China's most vibrant city by bicycle and experience the energy of its 23 million inhabitants. Taste Shanghai's urban life and see a city with many contradictions.
Wheely will visit the backstreets which are normally not seen by visitors, but also the most famous landmarks from a perspective not experienced before.
This tour is a unique combination of sightseeing, exercise and exploring. The tour covers the former French Concession, markets and bazaars, Shanghai's Old Town and its back alleys and after that, we'll stop for a drink on the Bund to take in the impressive skyline of Shanghai.
I had Lynn showing me Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou for three full days. With her help and knowledge, I saw and did things I would never have done by myself. She even tailor-made the tour to suit my interests. I am going back to Shanghai again soon and I will certainly make sure that I book Lynn ahead of time.
Thank you Lynn!

After a week of touring the historical sites in Beijing and Xian, China, a shopping excursion in Shanghai was fun.
Tour was run by a very knowledgeable guide and included a formal tea service in a tea shop where different teas were sampled. Followed by some free time to shop at one of the many street shopping areas before having lunch at a traditional Chinese restaurant, which was included as part of the tour. The highlight was an extended shopping time to haggle and bargain at one of the most popular and busy shopping villages in Shanghai. Bring your best haggling skills because they will surely be tested! Definitely a fun experience!
The former French Concession is the most visited part of Shanghai, which is not difficult to understand if you look at its beautiful streets, great architecture and historic sites.
