This self-drive tour of Denmark begins with your arrival in Copenhagen, followed by a leisurely exploration of the city. The journey takes you westward to Odense via Roskilde, where you can visit the Viking Ship Museum and Roskilde Cathedral, and stop at the historic Egeskov Castle. In Odense, explore Hans Christian Andersen’s childhood home before heading to Aarhus, with stops in Jelling to see Viking-era burial mounds and rune stones. In Aarhus, visit Den Gamle By and enjoy its cultural landmarks.
