The tour guide fostrr a group atmosphere with group dinners and Machu Zpicchu and New Years Eve celebration were definitely the highlights of the tour and Jossuf fostered a feeling that everyone was an integral part of the tour. He was s great leader being involved with the group with stories and taking pictures do participants would have something to truly remember.

Initially before booking the trip I thought it was extremely overpriced. However(our tour guide) was fantastic. He made the trip worth every penny and was extremely organised and knowledgeable. The locations were great, and the activities were really cool. was a fantastic character, and became a friend by ensuring we all had fun. He looked after and catered for everyone’s needs and requirements, promoting safety above all else, and more than once went the extra mile to ensure we all had a great time (joining myself at CrossFit and his traditional dance moves were personal highlights). I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, as I would love to book a similar trip with Contiki in future because of this great experience. I would also recommend that you include huacachina in future - I went there on my own and it was one of the coolest experiences - maybe this could be added as an extra at the beginning of the trip.

This was my 5th Contiki and it was another unforgettable experience. The trip manager () was excellent, a true expert in all things South American. My only constructive comment is linked to the number of days spent in Buenos Aires. The add ons and city were disappointing compared to the rest of the trip. I can't believe we spent so long there. I would have much rather spend more time in the Amazon or in Rio.

The trip was really good with lots of standout places and experiences. Our trip manager was brilliant. He was friendly and knowledgeable and made everything easy. Some of the accommodation wasn’t the best (poor showers, uncomfortable beds, no safety lock box, no elevator) but for the most part acceptable.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of LimaTours. From putting a customised itinerary for us, advising us on activities appealing for the kids to the actual tour delivery. The attention to detail and high-level expertise of the tour guides made a difference in ensuring our trip was a success. Our guide Oscar Medina went beyond the expected showing our children the highlights of each place from a perspective relevant to their age. He was enthusiastic and very friendly. As part of the tour, we went to Sacsayhuaman, visited the community of Huilloc and participated in a workshop on local art making which the whole family enjoyed. We also visited the main landmarks as the Coricancha and the San Pedro market where the family heard stories and the kids found treasures to take with them back home to Dubai. A trip to remember. A great and very enjoyable trip with a very good guide / tour leader (Daniel). Such varied culture, food and scenery too. I felt like I learned and saw a lot. My one recommendation would be to make sure you read the trip notes carefully before you go / book. You cover a lot of ground (long distances) at times in order to and pack everything in. So there are some long travel days and plenty of early starts. Loved it.
