I found the Balkan Explorer tour to be all that I was expecting. I knew that visiting 10 countries in 16 days was going to be a busy holiday and it was. We saw so many amazing places under the guidance of our wonderful tour guide Dragana. She was perfect for the job as she guided a large group through a packed and varied trip through the Balkans. She was so knowledgeable of all of the places we visited but, more importantly, she took a personal interest in everyone on the tour and tried to make everyone's experience special.
The only negative for me was how fast paced the tour was. There were places (like Ljubljana) that I would have loved to have spent more time in. Again, I knew what I signed up for and I think there were always going to be special places that I was going to want to see more of.
The other special part of the tour was getting to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world. All in all, it was a great experience!
