Our tour manager, Kristen and our bus driver were fantastic! Kristen provided a nice balance of facts, stories and quiet time on the bus. When weather changed our plans, she handled it all smoothly. Loved all the waterfalls and the Northern Lights!
I am assuming you want evaluation on the city of Reykjavik tour. That tour guide was awesome but our whole trip tour guide was disappointing. The saga/history museum on the last day was too cramped for our size group and it was not enjoyable. I would have gone to the whale museum since we had gone whale watching. The whale replicas were awesome and the placs were short yet very informative.

Witness the raw beauty of Iceland in full on this immersive adventure, which starts with world-renowned natural wonders, before heading away from the crowds. First up is the understandably popular Golden Circle, before we circumnavigate the island to visit landscapes well away from the typical tourist track. Stark coastlines, immense glaciers and the Eastern Fjords await, as do the dramatic landscapes of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula – a highlight for many, but far too often missed.
Picking your dates: Choose between the frozen landscapes of winter, with the chance to witness the Northern Lights, and the endless days of summer with 24-hour daylight.

It was a very good program to get to know Iceland and see a lot without having to drive around the island in a rush. I don't have the feeling that I missed out on seeing anything.

This fascinating expedition provides a taste of everything Spitsbergen—the largest island in the Svalbard archipelago—has to offer. It’s also known as the “Wildlife Capital of the Arctic,” and we’ll show you why on this 10-day itinerary, which offers multiple departures—except for one extended 12-day voyage. Spotting Arctic wildlife will be a key focus of this expedition. Just imagine photographing walrus, reindeer, and that most iconic of Arctic denizens—the polar bear—all while marveling at the surreal spectacle of continuous daylight. On this exciting introductory journey, you’ll explore the unique Arctic landscape, hike the vast and colorful tundra, and learn about the history and geology of this remote Norwegian Arctic island. Our polar-obsessed guides will be on hand to answer all your questions about local wildlife. You have two ship options for this voyage: Ultramarine, our technologically advanced polar vessel that can access remote places most larger ships can’t reach; and our newest ship, the state-of-the-art Ocean Explorer.

This 14-day journey offers the most extensive exploration of Spitsbergen in the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard, including the opportunity to witness iconic Arctic wildlife like walrus, reindeer and polar bears, a glimpse into 16th-century maritime culture at secluded landing sites, and the rare chance to appreciate breathtaking views at the birdwatching utopias 14th of July Glacier and Alkefjellet. If conditions allow, we will also attempt a full circumnavigation of the archipelago, which is considered a rite of passage for many Arctic enthusiastists. The wildlife-viewing opportunities on this trip will leave you with plenty of memories and photos: the walrus with its long tusks and distinctive whiskers; Arctic birds in all their varied majesty; small herds of reindeer loping across the tundra; and that most iconic of Arctic creatures, the polar bear, as it roams the edges of the pack ice. Shore excursions by Zodiac will enable you to explore places where few humans have ever set foot. This voyage truly is the big adventure you’ve been waiting for.

Our Icelandic Adventure is filled with iconic experiences that highlight the very best of the region. We have included comfort admission into the famous Blue Lagoon, renowned for its rejuvenating geothermal waters and a natural wonder of the world. Next on your list is a guided excursion into the natural ice caves of Katla. You will embark on a beautiful and exciting super jeep ride to the secret area of one of 13 glaciers where you'll take a short walk through an amazing glacier area towards the natural ice cave - an experience like no other!
Also included within your Icelandic Adventure is entry to Hvammsvik Hot Spring Baths. Away from the crowds, you can enjoy 8 hot springs right on the Atlantic ocean, with water levels and temperatures fluctuating with the tides. Depending on the time of year, we include a Northern Lights by Boat Tour or a Whale Watching Tour. Sail away from the coastline of Reykjavik with a local guide in search for the amazing natural phenomenon that are the Northern Lights. Alternatively, on your guided whale watching tour from Reykjavik, you have the incredible opportunity to see minke and humpback whales, porpoises and dolphins.
Amongst all the above, you will also have the opportunity to drive the iconic Golden Circle route where you can visit UNESCO World Heritage Site Thingvellier National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area and the spectacular glacial waters of Gullfoss Waterfall. Whilst staying in Borgarfjordur within Western Iceland, you can explore the nearby Snaefellsnes, often referred to as 'Iceland in miniature' because of the wealth and diversity of its natural features. The coastline here is adorned with white and black sand beaches including Ytri-Tunga beach where you can observe its year-round seal colony.
Your trip begins and ends in the bustling city of Reykjavik; we recommend adding extra nights here should you want more time to explore the capital.
