Iceland is magic,other-worldly. Don’t miss the Blue Lagoon!!! Tour is well-organized. Easy direct flight from Pittsburgh—forget about early check-in to hotel. Confusion both ways with airport transfers. Three hotels-all clean. Would have liked hotel in Reykjavik to be more central to the shopping district. Hotel Personnel helpful. Breakfasts elaborate and included. Food on our own was very expensive. Tour stops very interesting with opportunities to get off the bus and explore. Would have liked longer times to hike a bit. I enjoyed everything in the city of Reykjavik including the guided city walk; famous landmarks, food, shopping and the people. I liked the motor bus tours to the country side to see the mountains, lava fields, waterfalls, ice glaciers, sheep, horses, buildings, different cities in Iceland, hotels, Geysers, black beaches, rock formations, museums and icebergs. Even the Sky Lagoon was wonderful.

What a fantastic trip. Iceland is so full of natural wonder its hard to know what to highlight. The first thing is our guide; a passionate Icelander who brought everything to life and told us all about the detail we might otherwise miss.
We saw blue sky, sunshine and a dusting of snow for the first 3 days then overcast and finally rain and blasts of strong wind. Nothing the weather could throw at us could marr the beauty and splendour of Iceland.
Everything from dormant and dead volcanic craters, thermal baths, glaciers and their iceburgs, larva fields, waterfalls....the list goes on and on.
Lastly, the public - open air - swimming pools and their hot tubs are a must. They refresh you, offer you the chance to wind down and relax and are absolutely wonderful. Do go!

I am assuming you want evaluation on the city of Reykjavik tour. That tour guide was awesome but our whole trip tour guide was disappointing. The saga/history museum on the last day was too cramped for our size group and it was not enjoyable. I would have gone to the whale museum since we had gone whale watching. The whale replicas were awesome and the placs were short yet very informative.
