    This trip includes all the well know sites you could want. Egypt is absolutely amazing and you won't be disappointed with what you see. Each attraction you visit is unique and an amazement. The accommodation is lovely and food good. Be prepared for early mornings, eg some were 2.30am! Also be prepared for lots of steps, and to fit in a lot in one day. It is exhausting but well worth it, perhaps just book a day or two to recover when you get home!

Every detail was handled with care, from airport pickup to checking in at luxury hotels and the cruise. My guide, Hany, was simply the best. He had a deep understanding of Egypt’s history, answered all questions with enthusiasm, and shared local insights you won’t find in books. The trip felt intimate and real, especially in Nubia and Abu Simbel where we connected with locals. The Nile cruise was peaceful and elegant, the food was fresh and delicious, with options for vegetarians too. Staff were warm and generous, always offering help with a smile. I left Egypt not just with beautiful memories, but with a sense of connection. This wasn’t a cookie cutter tour, it was crafted with heart.

    We had a fantastic trip to Egypt. I am a single mum with a 10 and 12 year old. We were in a very small group with just one other family and we had a brilliant time. Mohammed, the group leader was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and fun and made everything run smoothly, even the bits that didn’t (don’t expect the train to be on time, however flashy the new station). He was fantastic with the kids and generous with his experience of all aspects of Egyptian life. The trip is pretty full on but there is downtime built in. We love Egypt and will definitely go back. We’ll also definitely do another holiday with explore. For me, being on my own with the kids, the group meant I got some downtime and everything being so well organised meant I felt like I got a holiday as well! As an added bonus it was no more expensive to have two rooms at the hotels! Would totally recommend.

    This was one of the most incredible trips I've ever been on. *personal info removed by Feefo* was a fabulous tour manager and made the trip so entertaining and informative. It was very fast paced and I had not much sleep but it was worth it for all of the wonderful sites we saw and experiences we had. The luxury cruise boat was a highlight with all of its amenities, as were all of the temples we visited. Included meals were fine but we bought snacks to make up for any food we didn't like. Our group was a large one but pretty much everyone got on well together and had a blast. I would have loved an extra day in Hurghada to explore the town as we arrived at night and left at 7.30am so didn't get time to explore. Perhaps if the first day didn't start at 7pm (as Day 1 doesn't really count as a day since it's just a registration meeting) and was an afternoon of exploring Cairo that might have made room for more time somewhere else at the other end. Definitely take imodium tablets with you as over half of the group got sick throughout the week. Overall the whole week was amazing. I've made some friends for life and was so sad to leave at the end.
