My husband and I just returned from this tour of Egypt and Jordan and we absolutely loved it! This was our second trip with Expat so we knew that we should expect a jam packed itinerary with early rises and a lot of wonderful things to discover. The Egyptian portion of the trip was amazing and our tour guide Ramez was absolutely the best! Being an Egyptologist, he certainly knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable and passionate about it. He was also very well organized, a good communicator, patient with everyone, fun and extremely friendly. We had a small group of 15 wonderful people which made the whole experience even better. We had opted for the Felucca cruise on the Nile and it was a lot of fun. Crew on the boat were extremely friendly and made everything they could to make the experience enjoyable and memorable. They even through a birthday party (with the help of Ramez) to one of us in the group including a cake, music and dance around a bomb fire. This was so much fun! T

Another wonderful trip with World Expeditions. In addition to the expected highlights of Petra, Wadi Rum, snorkelling in the Red Sea and floating in the Dead Sea, the unexpected delights of visiting a local family at Um Qais (and cooking/dining with them), the expansive Roman ruins at Jerash and our extraordinary driver Firas made this trip wonderful. The small additional cost of having a representative meet us at the airport and guide us through immigration was well worth it. The process was very quick and smooth.
