We hired our guide for a full day of private touring the next day. The boat trip itself was awesome! His knowledge of Turkey's Ottoman history and storytelling was incredible! He added interesting details, dates, and anecdotal information and answered my husband's thousands of questions! Begin your Bosphorus dinner cruise with either a coach pickup from your hotel or join your guide at the port. Then, board your festive boat for a sightseeing cruise of the Bosphorus Strait and see the monument-laden European and Asian coastlines. See the Blue Mosque, the Kiz Kulesi tower and Dolmabahçe Palace glow gold at sunset. As dusk turns to nightfall see the last slivers of light illuminate Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, famously known for connecting the two continents.

Experience Istanbul's vibrant atmosphere on this evening tour. You'll begin with a Golden Horn ferry cruise, sailing past landmarks like the Galata Tower and the Iron Church with a local guide. Then, take a scenic walk down the bustling Istiklal Street, one of the city's most famous avenues. The tour offers an optional visit to the top of the Galata Tower for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.

A short drive to Karakoy, where we will board the ferry, and cruise up the Golden Horn to Sutluce. Along the way you will see Galata Tower, the Bulgarian St. Stephen Church (Iron Church), the red St. George's Cathedral, the seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in Istanbul and the Rahmi Koc Museum.
From Sutluce we will drive to to Taksim Square, and from there a casual walk along the Istiklal Street to Galata Tower. Istiklal (Independence) Street is the busiest in Istanbul, comparable to Fifth Avenue or Oxford Street in its national notoriety. The 2 km stretch boasts shops with every product imaginable, cafes and restaurants, live music, bars, cinemas and much more.
Once at Galata Tower there will be an option of going up to the top of the tower where there is an oustanding panoramic view of Istanbul. Those preferring not to will have free time.
Guests wishing to take up the option of dinner at a traditional restaurant will be dropped there, whilst the others will be returned to their hotel.
