Despite its unsurpassed natural beauty and cultural heritage, northern Morocco does not see many visitors compared with other parts of the country. Join us on this nine-day, small-group tour to see some of the highlights of this part of the country.
Your journey starts with a pickup on arrival in Casablanca, followed by Rabat, Chefchaouen, Tangier, and Fez. The final destination of this trip is Marrakech. In addition to the sightseeing tours in the cities, where you will come face with the rich architecture and history of this place, this group tour is ideal for those who also want to soak up the natural beauty and exotic culture of Morocco.
Take in the beauty of the Rif Mountains and see picturesque Berber villages in the Moroccan highlands. Set off on a day trip to the Ourika Valley, known for its numerous waterfalls. Stop by rural markets and urban souks and guilds throughout this trip. Meet the locals and see artisans at work.
Showing you the highlights and lesser-known gems will be our well trained, English-speaking, local tour guides. You will be traveling in a group that consists of a maximum of 18 travelers during this trip.

This trip was recommended to me and is full on with a lot of travelling but this gives you a wonderful snapshot of a lot of different aspects of Morocco. Yousaf, our guide, was knowledgeable and experienced. He was sensitive to our individual needs and he helped to develop in us a genuine love for this country and its people.

Discover Morocco's vibrant cities, ancient villages, and the breathtaking Sahara Desert on this 9-day adventure. Explore Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, Casablanca and Rabat, immerse yourself in rich culture, and experience the magic of a camel trek under desert sky.
Your Moroccan adventure kicks off in Marrakech, the vibrant "Red City." After a smooth airport transfer, you'll have time to relax and settle in at your hotel before meeting your fellow travelers. Over the next couple of days, you'll traverse the majestic High Atlas Mountains and explore the wonders they hold. Discover the ancient, UNESCO-listed village of Ait Benhaddou, a backdrop for countless films, and visit Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of North Africa," where you can tour renowned film studios. You'll then journey through the fragrant Roses Valley to Boumalne Dades.
The tour takes a dramatic turn as you venture into the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge and then witness the magic of the Sahara Desert. A camel trek across the golden sands under the setting sun will be an unforgettable memory. Enjoy a night under the desert stars in a traditional Berber camp, complete with local cuisine and music.
Leaving the desert, you'll travel through the palm-filled Ziz Valley, cross the Atlas Mountains once more, and witness playful monkeys in the Cedar Forest. Your next stop is Fes, Morocco's oldest imperial city, where a guided tour will immerse you in the heart of its bustling medina. You'll witness traditional craftsmanship, and have the option of a delightful Moroccan feast accompanied by traditional music and dance.
The picturesque "Blue Pearl" of Chefchaouen is next, a town nestled in the Rif Mountains and known for its stunning blue and white architecture. Journey south to Rabat, Morocco's official capital, where you'll explore iconic landmarks, including the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum. Continue to Casablanca and opt for a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. Your final stop is back in Marrakech, where you can relax or explore at your own pace before your farewell.

What a wonderful trip! After a bit of challenge finding our taxi transfer at Casablanca airport the holiday went very smoothly. The itinerary was excellent, well curated with just enough flexibility to suit the group's needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of experiences and the expertise and humour of all the local guides that we met on our travels
The accommodation was very good and mostly met expectations as described, however the final riad in Marrakech was only a 3 star hotel and a 25 minute walk from the centre of town, which surprised me on an 'Upgraded' tour. It was perfectly adequate and certainly met our needs, just not what I expected at the end of the trip.
We were lucky to find ourselves with a terrific group of fellow travellers who all got on very well, however my highest praise goes to our group tour leader, Ibrahim who was exceptional.
Ibrahim is very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He paced the trip well and was particularly adept at 'reading' the group and tweaking the plans where it would add to our comfort and enjoyment. His energy and enthusiastic personality together with his understanding and caring nature ensured that all group members had the very best holiday possible.

The taste of Morocco tour was very comprehensive and a fantastic value. As a newer tour, there are a couple of small itinerary points that weren't perfect, mostly the first night in Marrakesh when we had a foodie tour of the market followed immediately by a full meal at a restaurant. Might be better to eliminate the dinner on that day, or make it significantly later. The foodie tour was plenty!!
Mustafa was our tour leader and I couldn't praise him enough. He was wonderful, knowledgeable, open about life in Morocco and clearly loves his beautiful country. Of note, a few of us got in a sticky spot in a sandstorm in the desert, and if he hadn't found us and guided us back, I may still be there trying to find my way out. I am forever grateful for his skill and professionalism.
Wonderful tour!!

This 9-day private tour explores the North of Morocco visiting ancient cities and ruins, colourful medinas, spiritual centres and beautiful mountain scenery. You'll see Morocco's 4 historical Imperial Cities, Marrakech, Rabat, Meknes and Fes, and also explore the Roman ruins at Volubilis, the largest ancient site in the country. Our English speaking guides will help bring these historic places to life, and also immerse you in the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of modern Morocco.
Other highlights on the tour are the beautiful and atmospheric northern towns of Chefchaouen and Tangier. The bright white and blue painted medina at Chefchaouen is unforgettable, and Tangier's location on the Strait of Gibraltar where it acts as a gateway between Europe and Africa makes it a melting pot of different cultures and atmospheres.
Add to this time travelling through the beautiful Rif Mountains and you have a great introduction to Morocco to enjoy. In particular if you like exploring the narrow alleys, markets and bazaars in traditional old medinas and souqs, then this is the tour for you with Fes, Marrakech and Chefchaouen having fantastic examples to discover.
Accommodation is in comfortable mid-range hotels, with options available to extend the tour at either end if you wish.
