Plenty of time to see the sites and do things on your own if desired. Bus provided ample leg room for us taller clients. We enjoyed the offered excursions even though we had been to many of the cities previously. This was our third trip with Insight and not our last. We have partnered with the Sleat Community Trust to help transform the forest of Tormore through tree planting, path building, and repair. It’s not all hard toil; after volunteering on the Isle of Skye each morning, we will spend the afternoons exploring romantic castles, local whisky distilleries, and natural waterfalls. We even get the chance to learn some Scottish Gaelic and hear about all the myths, legends, and tales that form Scotland’s rich history.
We have partnered with our mates at The Sleat Community Trust to roll up our sleeves and embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Isle of Skye. Don your boots and get down and dirty to transform the Tormore Forest through tree planting, path building and repair. But don’t sweat it, it’s not all hard toil; you can expect stunning scenery, jaw dropping waterfalls, legendary stories, drinking drams and all-round guaranteed belly laughs.
