Traveling for 16 days across 4 countries with my best friend was our dream since high school. Each activity planned was fantastic, and the experiences in every country were unforgettable. Dat made us feel at home throughout the journey, and we particularly appreciated local guide's support during the trip. Thank you for an amazing experience—I'll be recommending this to everyone!

At 6 am, our guide will meet you at your hotel for the start of an enjoyable early morning bicycle tour in Hanoi.
First, you will begin biking to Hoan Kiem Lake, which occupies a strategic location in the center of the capital. Beautiful and quiet, the lake is where the locals go to get away from the noise of the city. Around the lake, you can observe local residents doing their early morning routine such as walking, jogging or having breakfast in nearby cafes.
Next, you will proceed to the West Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Hanoi. Along the way, you can make stops at the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can take many beautiful photos.
You will have around 1.5 hours to bike around the West Lake, which is a popular area for the locals to do their early morning yoga, Tai Chi, or jogging. After circling the lake (with a circumference of 17 km), you will have a short visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, built in 16th century and is the oldest temple in Vietnam. The pagoda, which resides on a small island, was built during the time of King Ly Nam De as a cultural symbol of Vietnamese Buddhism.
You can also make a stop at a lakeside café, where you can take in the scenery while enjoying a hot bowl of Pho (traditional Vietnamese noodle soup).
Finally, you will ride back to your hotel where the tour ends at 9 am.
Prepare for an epic adventure loaded with ancient sights and natural beauty as you travel from the hustle of Bangkok to the bustle of Hanoi. In Cambodia, call into the ancient temples at Angkor, take on beguiling Phnom Penh and get a taste of Khmer hospitality with a village homestay in Chambok. Then veer into Vietnam to trace its coastline from south to north, visiting the chaotic Ho Chi Minh City all the way up to old-world Hanoi, with historic Hoi An and Hue at its centre. Along the way, revel in the sheer beauty of the landscape, the friendliness of the locals and the social organisations that are providing brighter futures for this region. Oh, and did we mention the food? To die for.

At 5 pm, you will be picked up at your hotel by a taxi or cyclo. Your first stop is the renowned Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, where you will watch a traditional water puppet performance complete with operatic music. Water puppetry has been a favorite pastime of farmers in northern Vietnam for thousand of years. It is said that this art form first began at a time when rice paddies were flooded and villagers would make entertainment by standing in the waist-deep water with the puppets performing over the water.
After enjoying the traditional puppet show, you will continue your walking tour along the Hanoi Old Quarter. This place is also known as "36 Streets" where hawkers sell a variety of produce (from live seafood to exotic fruits and spices). Here, you will have dinner featuring a good selection of regional Hanoi dishes served in “street” style (local style).
Around 9 pm, you will visit a traditional coffee shop where you can sample authentic Vietnamese tea or coffee. Take time to communicate with the local patrons and learn more about their way of life.
Around 10 pm, you will continue strolling around the Old Quarter to observe Hanoi's night life. You can find some nice spots for taking pictures to keep unforgettable moments of your night tour in Hanoi.
Finally, you will return to your hotel at the end of the tour.
You will be picked up at your hotel at 8.00.a.m to begin your adventure by pedaling from your hotel to the other side of the Red River.
Next, you will cycle through peaceful countryside to observe green rice paddy fields and meet the hospitable locals.
Upon your arrival in But Thap Pagoda, you can visit 100 compartments and 10 buildings covering a total area of 100 meters from the gate of three entrances to the bell-tower and back house. But Thap is recognized as one of the country’s most important cultural relics. The pagoda was built under King Tran Thanh Tong (1258-1278), and rebuilt in 1647 in the Le Dynasty by the Chinese Zen Buddhist priest ZhusZhus (ChuyetChuyet in Vietnamese).
Around 12:00: You will have time for lunch at a local restaurant or with a local family.
After lunch, around 2.p.m, you will resume your ride to Dong Ho handicraft village, which is famous for its traditional wooden block printing. There are only three families involved in this painstaking craft while the rest of the village has opted for more profitable pursuits.
Once coming to this village, you can pay a visit to the house of the craftsman Nguyen Dang Che, who is famous throughout the country for his traditional paintings and to know the way he makes wooden block paintings. And then, you will continue exploring the village by bike, and discover villagers making other paper crafts
Finally, you will go back to your hotel. The trip ends around 4 pm.
On your must-do list during your time in Hanoi should be a rickshaw ride and water puppets. This tour combines both of these and even throws in a dinner on top.
One of the best ways to actually see Hanoi is from a seat in a rickshaw (locally known as cyclo). Your expert guide takes you through the crowded streets to sites you wouldn't be able to find by yourself. You can see how each street is dedicated to one particular product creating unique features such as bamboo street or party street.
The water puppets, a culturally unique performance shows how rural life, folklore and legend takes place. The best in the city is the Thang Long theatre where we shall take you.
Itinerary:
Pick you up at your hotel at around 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm, cyclo ride around the trading area in Hanoi Old Quarter. Around 5:15 pm or 9:15 pm stop at Thang Long theatre for Water puppet show. After the show finish, enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant with a special dish of Vietnam. Then transfer back to your hotel around at 8:30 pm or 10:30 pm
