Really enjoyed the tour although it included very long driving hours on some days. Packing lighter would definitely have helped in getting around more easily as we changed hotels almost every day and some of them had a small walk from the drop off point. The group itself was amazing with the tour leader Darius being helpful and attentive. Our driver Pascal was excellent and we had bathroom stops every 3 hours or so in nice service stations having good food and snacks options.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on our recent Expat explore tour "Europe Escape", from 01 - 12 Dec 2024. The tour started and ended in Rome, we were given a good appreciation of both the City and quaint little town along the route which took us to Venice, Tuscany, Florence, Múnich, Rhine Valley, Ámsterdam, Ghent, Paris, Burgandy, Beaune, Montmatre, Lake Como, Rome, the Swiss Alps!!
Oh wow! This was such an amazing trip! Our guide, Roma was so knowledgeable and made it even more exciting with her bubbly personality, and our bus driver, Ishti made us feel so safe on the roads...they were truly awesome! I know that keeping a large group together is no easy feat, but they made us feel like family. They shared very helpful tips about the local places, information that you would not normally know as a tourist. Oh! and we were given these cute little passports and stamps to mark the places as we visited them through the tour...this was a really great idea!

If you are wanting to take in as much sightseeing at a fast pace on a tight schedule (9 countries in 12-13 days of Eastern Europe), this is the tour for you. Given all the travel time, there is little free time or days for chilling unless you opt out of walking tours, excursions, or dinners. Tour representative is informed, savvy, fun, compassionate, and very down to earth making the tour youthful and light hearted. For this trip, must have fairly good fitness level as walking tours average 2-4 hours a day (a lot of walking and ground covered). The places and historical details you receive is incredible---amazing value for everything they show you!

The tour was amazing overall. We did not find the itinerary rushed at all and felt like we had enough time at each attraction. Kriszte the tour leader was amazing and we enjoyed talking with her and her positive spirit and energy was a great plus. Our bus driver Josef was extremely skilled and we felt very safe. The itinerary was very well thought out and the drives through the alps are something you have to experience for yourself words will not describe the beauty of the journey. The itinerary changed for the Swiss Alps portion of the trip, due to hotel scheduling circumstances I believe, however the optional excursions that were put in place were more than sufficient. Mount Pilatus and a trip to Heididorf were substituted for Jungfraujoch as the itinerary was re-worked and they were both very enjoyable experiences. The Tyrolean folk evening was a lot of fun and the meal was very good.
Overall, we found the itineraries, excursions, tour leader, bus driver, and experience with Expat
