Kudos for their counsel prior to the trip, advising us to spend time exploring areas like The Catlins. Overall, our expectations were exceeded. Highlights for us were private or small tours (Rotorua, Stewart Island, Wanaka) on which we could really engage with our guides and learn. We appreciated the variety of experiences – thrills, nature, hikes, boats, private flights. We especially liked the times when we had solitude rather than big crowds of tourists.

A fantastic trip to a beautiful country. Particularly enjoyed the active components (hiking, biking, kayaking) with an up close view of the flora and landscapes. The CEO was knowledgeable, resourceful, and very pleasant. Despite the long bus rides, seeing so much of the country was an advantage. The population was friendly, gracious and adventuresome. Overall expectations were exceeded.

Top class hotels. Only the Christchurch hotel did not have a freezer section in the fridge - which meant the ice packs for my insulin could not be frozen. The staff in all the hotels were excellent and professional. The meals were well presented and tasty. The rooms presented beautifully. Interesting views too.

We had a wonderful time on tour with Santo our tour director and Pete our driver who both took extra care of my elderly parents who had mobility issues The places we went to were amazing and the meals provided excellent. The accommodation is what one expects in New Zealand but every care was taken to make sure we had everything we needed We were sad when our South Island tour ended
