This trip was all I dreamed of and more! Summiting Mt Fuji was at the top on my list, next was eating all the amazing seafood! We had a great group with exceptionally good guides - which made this trip the adventure I was looking for and much more! Thank you G for helping me attain this goal and dream!
Was a great tour, could have been better with longer hikes and more demanding activities. Some of the hikes were only 45 mins long and took up the entire morning to organise. Was expecting more for them. It’s a new tour so needs to be tweaked to made better for the active people doing it. No point in having an active tour that is not very active. When we did snorkelling the CEO seemed a bit nervous of the whole situation. Not sure if he was the right person for the active tour.
It’s not every day you can say you’ve travelled a country from top to bottom — but on this 20-day active adventure, you’ll explore Japan from its northernmost tip to its sunny southern islands. Kick things off in Kyoto and Tokyo, with city walks and scenic day hikes before heading way off the beaten path. Explore Hokkaido’s rugged national parks, then hop over to Okinawa’s tropical paradise for biking, hiking, and kayaking. Refuel with mouthwatering dishes unique to each region and unwind in traditional Japanese onsens. Who says you can’t have it all?
The tour guide was great. I enjoyed the rural aspects of the tour. There wasn't enough of it, though. Shiretoku NP is a gem. There wasn't enough of it, though. Six nights in cities was five nights too many. I'm done. You get my drift.
From the neon-lit streets of Tokyo to the tranquil hot springs of Noboribetsu, this 12-day journey across Northern Japan immerses you in the country’s rich tapestry of culture, history and natural beauty. Zip North on a bullet train to Aomori, where you can visit prehistoric sites and fresh seafood markets. Soak in volcanic hot springs, paddle across lakes and discover the vibrant spirit of Hokkaido. After wandering the lavender fields of Furano, end your adventure in Sapporo, where modern energy meets great mountainous views. Japan’s colourful wonders await – are you ready?
This trip was a very positive experience that provided an excellent overview of Japan. The guides were excellent, the activities were great and safe, and the hotels were air conditioned and comfortable. I appreciated the washing machines and dryers in every hotel.
