The Journey to Macchu Picchu with National Geographic and G Adventures was so much more than I bargained for. Not only did we see and explore Macchu Picchu, but in the days leading up to the "Big Mountain' we learned so much about the Incan culture and practices from the visits to other lesser-known archeological and cultural sites, that by the time we arrived at the UNESCO World Heritage, Macchu Picchu, I felt that I actually understood this extraordinary site and its significance to the Incan people.

This was an excellent trip to Thailand! All of the details were arranged! The tour guides were knowledge locals. It was nice not having to arrange any of the drivers. My whole team was so adaptable and kind. My guide Spring took me on incredible hiking and cultural journeys with his endless knowledge of history, Buddhism, architecture, animals and nature. Our driver Lahto was amazing at navigating the mountainous roads safely and confidently with added humor. The owner Tsenrig met me for dinner one night because I mentioned I wanted to try a lot of Bhutanese food. All the stops we made were so good and the accommodations were so nice with not a bad meal the whole trip. If you’re still on the fence, get this: I left my coat in a town 2 hours away and got it driven to me in 4 hours later so I didn’t leave without it on my early flight the next morning. Truly not a bad word can be said about this team and their team made my trip one of my favorite traveling experiences I’ve ever had.
