Completing the Portuguese Camino with luggage transfers, accommodation and itinerary organised made the self-guided hike even more enjoyable. The standard of hotels and rural B&B's was excellent. Most of the accommodation in Portugal had swimming pools which at the end of a hot walk was bliss. The initial communication when booking the trip was great and was always kept up to date. Would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

I had such a fantastic time on this trip. The guide Jorges was passionate, knowledgeable and understanding to everyone. The places we stopped and the camaraderie we enjoyed on the Camino was down to the itinerary and the organisation of our guide.
The trips structure was flexible and considerate of everyone’s needs, the guide was able to organise checkpoints throughout the day with the driver and people were able to skip parts if they had an injury or were finding it difficult. The local guides were very passionate and knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend this trip if you’re wanting to do the Camino.

UTracks provided the perfect way for my husband and I to walk a lovely part of the Portuguese Camino from Porto to Tui just for a week. The Camino isn’t a luxury vacation, it has a more humble history, and in the past we walked independently, staying in albergues in Spain, with no set daily itinerary on our way to Santiago de Compostela. This time we wanted to walk just a portion of the Portuguese road, with UTracks to do the groundwork and make our reservations for us. The inns and homes chosen to stay in all had charm and convenience and were, without exception, clean and run by friendly people. The route through Northern Portugal is beautiful, and the chosen itinerary alternated between challenging and easy days in order to let us enjoy the charming towns along the way. Overall it was a nice and good trip but i would like to highlight some points.
1. Short duration of personal stroll in some places/towns.
2. The detailed itinerary was not respected. There was a day where we returned to the hotel earlier than mentioned on the itinerary.
3. Another day, we were given only 30 minutes to stroll around Rouen including dinner. How is that possible? we traveled 4 hours to reach Rouen from Paris only to visit and eat within 30 minutes?
4. Breakfast lack options, everyday we got the same things in 5 hotels we were staying. Too much pork options as breakfast and not everybody consumes that.
5. Diamond cutting factory was a waste of time as nobody was interested to visit this. The explanations were so dull and sleepy, they put 40 people in a closed non aerated room and we were all suffocating. I had rather stroll around Amsterdam from morning to evening.
Overall it was a good and nice trip but it could have been perfect.

This was our first experience with Expat, and we were very impressed with the quality and the value. Kriszti, our Tour Leader, was phenomenal!! We have been on many coach tours in the past, but have never met such a knowledgeable, personable, and caring guide. We felt well taken care of throughout the tour. We can't say enough good things about her. We took advantage of all the available optional excursions, and we would highly recommend this to get a fuller experience. It was our first visit to Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary, and we were pleasantly surprised by their rich heritage and history, and felt very safe there.
