Arrangements were efficient, the hotel was lovely, the reception and meal on arrival was most welcoming. Walking was as brochure said and the town/suburbs was abundant with flowering plants. Evening meals easily available at very reasonable prices. The guide was full of interesting information about the historical context of the island. Easy communication! The hotel is excellent and location is city centre and safe, so I just walked everywhere. Plenty of restaurants outside the hotel. The tour meet up location is also few minutes walk only! Don�t miss the Royal Palace. Is a must to see it and only steps away. I�m very happy with this trip and highly recommended to add to your itinerary especially for someone who is doing solo travel like me and concerned about safety.

We were picked up from Heriklion and taken to our hotel. Hotel was good, my only comment is that we would have preferred to pay a little extra and gone all inclusive as we could only have food in the evening meal which also included water that we had to pay for. Trip to knossos was very informative and ticket was also valid for the museum in Heraklion, which we visited in the afternoon. The safari trip was fantastic. Jason our guide was funny and knowledgable. We learnt a lot about the villages in the mountains, saw the sunken village, visited a goat herder and watched cheese being made then tried them with raki. Amazing Day especially travelling on the roads up the mountains. Very good value for money.
