If you’re captivated by the Mediterranean, Discovering the Maltese Islands is an ideal walking trip for travelers eager to experience the best of Malta and Gozo. Over 8 days, explore UNESCO-listed Valletta, dramatic coastal cliffs, and tranquil fishing villages, all while enjoying excellent gastronomy and a deep sense of history.
Your journey begins with scenic walks around Malta’s ‘fish tail’ peninsula, where coastal watchtowers and ancient city walls tell stories of the past. Stay in a modern hotel near Balluta Bay, and revel in the lively yet relaxing ambiance of St Julian’s. Midway, transfer to Gozo for a slower pace: stroll cobbled streets, marvel at Fungus Rock, and unwind in Victoria’s elegant heart.
The unique selling point of this trip is its dual-island focus—offering both the lively culture of Malta and the peaceful retreat of Gozo, making it a walking tour package that balances adventure with relaxation.
Fancy a week of trekking along sun-drenched trails, ancient chapels, and crystal-clear beaches? 'Walking the Akamas Peninsula' delivers just that—an eight-day self-guided hiking tour through one of Cyprus’s most unspoiled regions. Designed for moderately active travelers, this trip starts inland in the charming village of Droushia, with walks to Kremiotis Waterfall and the medieval Agia Paraskevi chapel.
As you traverse the Laona Plateau and approach the coast, panoramic vistas open up, leading you to Lara Beach and onward to the Baths of Aphrodite cave. Each stage unveils stretches of the Smigies, Adonis, and Aphrodite Trails, including breathtaking peaks like Moutti tis Sotiras. Along the north coast, you’ll encounter secluded coves—Fontana Amoroza, Blue Lagoon, and Manolis Beach—perfect for relaxing after a day’s walk.
The tour’s standout feature is its seamless blend of inland and coastal exploration, with luggage transfers ensuring comfort and flexibility. For travelers seeking a balance of cultural charm and natural beauty, this is the ultimate Cyprus walking adventure.

Nicknamed the Walker’s Island, it’s laced with extensive trails through subtropical rainforest and scenes of raw, untamed beauty.

Walk through the Cheviot Hills from Scotland to England en-route to Britain's very own Galapagos. The St Cuthbert’s Way is a long-distance path that was established in 1996. The route reflects the life of this 7th century monk, extending from Melrose Abbey in the Scottish borders, where he became bishop to the island of Lindisfarne just off the coast of Northumberland in northeast England, where he was buried. So the ‘Way’ links places associated with his life. It includes a variety of delightfully unspoilt countryside: the Tweed Valley (origin of the famous woollen cloth), the Eildon Hills, the Cheviot Hills (origin of one of the most famous breeds of sheep), and the Northumberland coast with its broad horizons, sandy beaches and dramatic contrasts between high and low tide. The small historic towns en route - Melrose, Kirk Yetholm and Wooler - are equally unspoilt and offer a pleasant contrast with the thinly populated countryside. There is an abundance of historical features, including ruined abbeys at Melrose and Lindisfarne, the battle site at Harestanes Moor and old castles. The standard route is intended to be walked in 4 long days, but we have made several modifications to make the day stages slightly shorter and perhaps more interesting. The tour ends on Lindisfarne, but we recommend that if you have time, you opt for the extended tour which takes you back to the mainland and the beautiful village of Bamburgh overlooked by its grand castle and further down the coast, past the magnificent ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle to near the ancient kipper producing village of Craster.
