This trip was absolutely amazing! It has wonderful scenery and architecture. The history of these countries make you think about humanity and the resolve of people. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and geography of the countries. The hotels were centrally located, clean and very comfortable. The extra excursions were fun! Very organized. The time was well used to see major sites and to get a feel for the history and daily life. The tour was responsive to our request to include some outdoor, active activities in addition to sightseeing. The local guide was very good, knowledgeable and genial. Importantly, he was a good driver. The hotels were well selected, except for the one in Cluj which was a bit out of the center.
